  • Are TF, Ferdinand, Ramsey, too nice......

for the job at hand? Maybe we need a sort of fusion of Barton/Wise/Vinnie Jones running the show if one exists? Or would that be a disaster?

Maybe Sherwood is the closest to it now I think of it, and its too late to get him.

Nothing to do with being too nice as we have been like this for years

I'd certainly say that about Ramsey when took over the quality and effort rose for
a period but that cant be said for the last 5 games they just dwindled to that shambles at the weekend , it happens at a lot of times in football a manager or temp manager comes in the player say how nice he is and how he has lifted the everyone then familiarity breaks in and people see a nice person as being weak

ArticHoop, my humble opinion is that the squad is too weak, I´m not sure even a manager like Potchetino, or Sherwood for that matter, could have done so much more than what Ramsey has.

            Certainly say Ramsey is

He's everyone's mate and all the players want him to stay despite him being out of his depth. Probably because he's a wet blanket
I should probably write something insightful here

Honestly still dont think its a case of the squad being to weak. 100% down to a full season of bad management and poor coaching/training.... look at the team on paper and its more than capable of staying up without going near the relegation zone! If we'd got the left side covered in the transfer window and got Phillips playing like he is from the start then we could've had Phillips on the right, the left side would have been covered and Fer could've been playing behind Vargas and Austin. Sorry but that = goals, goals, goals!! Plus a choice of Barton/Henry/Sandro to strengthen the middle.... IF we'd been organized/prepared AND played players in their natural positions AND got the best out of each player all from the start of the season then we'd be preparing for another season in the Premiership not worrying about how we're going to cope with the likes of focking Huddersfield and Sheffield Wednesday.

Quite right in what you said Nick but you never mentioned the defence Ned ordinary at best Caulker has done more than anybody to put us where we are ,Full backs , this this week that next week

Yeah the defence have been a bit hit and miss to say the least. Although I'd say Isla's been good when played. Think Yuns let us down a lot to be fair. With the CB positions, I honestly put that down to a lot of messing about, for example imo Ned and Caulker shouldve been 1st choice from day 1 and given time to form a decent partnership.. It all mainly falls down to poor management/coaching/training imho just like it does throughout the rest of the side.
