1. Establish a wage structure that all new signings will be placed under. Right off the bat, this will eliminate most of the costly mistakes we have made.
2. Look for players who will want to play for the hoops. This totally excludes all players who have played for top clubs, as they will see us as a step down and will not be motivated.
Restricting ourselves from signing PL players who may be looking for a move just because they have at least two years left on their current contracts would be incredibly stupid.

I agree that each transfer should have its own merit but I think having too broad a reach will lead to longer periods without signings and we can't risk that. So highlighting the elements that make a player cheap and of good quality will close our search and allow us to get more done early, something we need to do."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. As I said, and I would think most might settle for, is a period of stability with signs that we are moving forward on a sound footing and that we might just be able to eventually get back to the Premier League and consolidate our position there. It's most probably going to take time tho'. Trying to stay positive, honestly lol !"What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. With this in mind, would people like to have a list of all the players under a certain age that fall into this category so that we can discuss potential signings?

Fact is we will need to spend some dolla especially when it comes to strikers. Sell charlie and release Zamora and we have cox.mifmwe don't bring at least two capable champ strikers then relegation could be a real possibility. But get up top and the wings sorted I think we can really push on.

So we're looking at players already? Think we should wait until we have a permanent manager, then see if we have a fine/embargo we need to sort out, then the players that we are going to shift/keep, then who is good enough from youth... A lot to think about and old Nassar wants the chequebook out?? All these youngsters that are out of contract will still cost a few quid.C'Mon You Supaaaa!!
