First one with Lewa, he has only been 4 goals less and he doesn't need to try as hard now given that they have already won the league, Pirlo has been considered one of the greatest signings ever to have lasted as long as he did for a top side. The bosman for Cambiasso i'm talking about is from madrid to inter, where he improved massively.

Here are at least two players I hope we are checking.

1)Smith, the Ipswich CB. He is only 25 years and quite good from what I have seen

2))George Friend(yes, I know) if Boro fails to get promoted. Friend is a steady Canadian playing as a fullback. Maybe, we are covered OK in that position, though.

From what I have seen they are both comfortable with the ball at their feet.

Thought Ameobi looked shocking when he came on. If we sign players of that ilk come the window opening were bang in trouble again next season

[I thought he looked ok, tried to create something but he was a lot better than the rest of them. I think though he has been better in general all season and would be useful in the championship

Both Ameobis are shite! Sammy looks like a young bambi running on ice, legs all over the place.

A player I would like to see us go after is Alex Mowatt at Leeds. One of their best prospects and has a good season in the championship at 20 years old.

Would not be surprise to see him at Palace, Pardew rates him highly, once that kid fills out and gets game time, he will be an excellent player!

                Premier League free transfers:

Didier Drogba, Shaun Wright-Phillips and James Milner are some of the biggest names still facing uncertain futures with their club next season ahead of the summer transfer window.

What's key is signing players who see QPR as a step up and have something to prove. Both Phillips and Austin saw us as that and it worked out great.

There's players like Dean Furman at Doncaster who is their captain as well as the South African captain, nice player who is perfect for the Championhsip.
Then you've got the likes of Henderson at Rochdale and Reuben Reid at Plymouth who would love to play for Rangers.
Would also love Jed Wallace from Pompey

But also 30 Shania, not sure how that fit in with the 'young' policy this thread is highlighting. The others arent really youngsters either other than Jed Wallace.

We can score goals, but we can't stop conceding them, we need a new back four, all to slow for the PL, its time to build.

As last year showed, experience is key. There's nothing wrong with signing over 30s, as long as their quality justifies it.

James McLean from Wigan, not sure about his contract tho.think he's exactly the type we need for the championship.

Wouldn't mind seeing some of the old guard come back (not the OLD ones though)

We should certainly try and get Mackie back. Cares about the club and been doing pretty well for Reading. Not sure why Matt Connolly was let go and always thought he looked good, still mid twenties. Hopefully Petrasso will stay as well as Ehmer.

If Fer does go I'd like to see a new number 10 come in. Someone exciting and skillful...
