I considered posting something similar yesterday but didn't fancy the reponses that doubted my sanity. In fact the game is ALMOST up, but miracles can happen (did you see the Sunderland game yesterday?). Whilst it is most unlikely, stranger things have happened. Maybe, just maybe its our turn -and hoping it is is surely why we love the game -and particularly Rangers -so much. In my case its not the hope that kills you -it's what keeps the dreams alive. Without dreams, where would we be?

Sorry about my blind optimism had been drinking, for the record I think we will lose by 3 goals or more today and spurs do us a favour against Hull that would be a 1st this season, BUT them 2 games aside it is more than doable.

Latest report is that Man City will try 3 strikers today unlike previously relying on one (Aguero)

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini could toy with the idea of playing three strikers as he looks for a long-term winning formula.

If (we won't) did actually win today we would have a small chance. Beat Newcastle next week and Hull lose at Spurs then the table for the final day is

                      Newcastle 36
                      Hull 34
                      QPR 33

We would also have a better GD than Newcastle

                      so in summary....STAYING UP!

If City are playing 3 up front, we stand no chance of any points.

It's not just that the game us up, and that we deserve to go down, we need to go down. This sorry mess can't be sorted out in the over-hyped glare of the Premiership. Going down to the Championship gives us time to sort out the root and branch reorganisation that this club so badly needs. If and when this is achieved, we can look to the Premiership as a more sustainable and long-term goal.

Anyway - potential fines apart - what's so bad about dropping down a league? I'm looking forward to it.

Think we should throw this game and just have a fun day out. Swap the players around all outta position and play some under 18s. If we managed to actually win its gonna be the funniest thing beamed across the globe.
