But Harry set the bar ridiculously low so it's hard to tell whether the positives from Ramsey are just the bare minimum any competent professional manager ought to be doing.

The management of the West Ham game was inexusable though, and should really have ruled him out of the job. I'm still completely baffled as to what was going through his head while we were coating our way to effective relegation with 4 centre backs and 3 defensive mids on the pitch, vs a team who had given up for summer.

I'll back him, of course. But based on what I've seen from him so far this would be a pretty poor appointment.

Yet if we scored the pen we would of won the game , I didn't agree with the selection for that game but we still had chances and its not as if the attacking players on the bench have done anything of note this season anyway

No doubt he has made mistakes this season but he has done enough to be given a chance

I must admit giving him the job without looking at other candidates smacks of a total lack of ambition imo

if we are to change our philosophy and look to promote through the ranks and build a stronger foundation then i say give him a few years as manager. Unfortunately, knowing out club, I would think if we are struggling in the bottom half by christmas he will get the axe and we will be back to square one with a 'name' manager.

Doing enough to get a chance is narrowly missing out on survival.. we are 7 points adrift and he hasnt won a game at home.
You cant continue saying, ''we had chances to win the game.. if we'd have to taken this chance and that chance we would of got something'' etc etc.. Reality is we didnt and we havent for numerous games.

No chance with Ramsey, Has NEVER won a home game. He's a nice guy but really isn't what we need at this important time.

Mick McCarthy on the other hand is CURRENTLY in the playoffs with Ipswich TODAY two years after saving them when they were cut adrift at the bottom of the championship and has only spent £10 THOUSAND pounds on his squad during that time compared to the £160 MILLION that we spent for the same points return with our Championship Galacticos.

He has delivered playoff football to 4 different clubs, taken 2 up as champions and finished in the top 6 for 6 out of his 7 years in the championship without the need to spend money.

So to all of you using the words DINOSAUR, HAS BEEN and THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX.....I don't care how old our manager is, or what colour he is, or even if its a she and not a he....what I care about is the results and the uncertain future of the club.
We got lucky last year, when we were relegated before it took us 15 years to come back, I dont want to see that again.

I'm glad he is going to be given the job, he's done ok IMO. Has a very unbalanced squad, hence why he plays Henry on the left and I honestly think we have improved under him.

Might turn out to be a disaster but then so was Hughes, who was supposed to be a 'top top manager' and is only doing well with another managers team at the minute, and old soppy b o llox Redknapp who wanted to spend money all the time to iron out problems.

                Good luck to Ramsey.

Oh right so the real reason he is getting the job is because of the colour of his skin

                  #### me I have seen some embarrassing stuff on this forum but that tops everything

They are people , end of discussion. Whether they are the right people for the job remains to be seen

Are you Mick's agent? Copying and pasting the same thing you have said since you joined a few weeks back

Mick isn't bad, but instead of using the same recycled names I would like to see us join the modern world of football. Plenty of unknown managers out there across the world. The average football fan wouldn't of heard of Watfords manager, or Boro's before this season. There are plenty more like them across the world. This is QPR though so I wouldn't hold my breath.

I don't know with CR either way so lets see what happens.

I just don't understand the view that having someone with little or no experience is better than someone with experience. I assume it's the adage of we tried with someone experienced, it didn't work, so lets go completely the other way.

If I was employing people at my company I would rank experience and achievement over naivety and age.

Look at the managers in the top half of the league, not many inexperienced people up there.

                          now

now for a sensable post ,i am very disapointed that we didnt get mark warburtan because unlike ramsey he has
already bought and sold players with a fair amount of success, oth alladyce and warburtan if this goes wrong,we could be in the lower divisions
for about four years which is too long

both alladyce and warburtan would have guaranteed imiediate promotion as champions, then we need the luck of
the fixtures to get a run of results together

harry redknapp really screwed up big time with his rio ferdinand purchase and ridiculous defensive tactics but warburtan
and alladycew both play attacking formats so both would do me

I bet none of you can name the cert home games that we should have won, except West Ham, or even all the teams we have played at home since CR took over.

                                Try these

                                Swansea
                                Southampton
                                Spurs
                                Arsenal
                                Everton
                                Chelsea
                                West Ham

And then please tell us all which were the easy games. Absolute Laughable. Hysteria of the most unbelievable order
