Very true but Swansea were an established prem club with a decent squad before he took over and he has been there throughout all their promotions so truly understands the way they play by learning off Martinez, rodgers and laudrup and truly understands the club itself as he has played there a while. He has done a great job though. For every Monk though there are always more who dont make it

Another manager I will back, just like the ones before, give him a chance to get the players in/out and 10/15 games, then judge. Think it's the wrong decision mind you but what can we do about it. Just hope this has been done for football decisions and not to be Politically Correct. Think we should've gone for Kenny Jackett.

Cautiously optimistic. Whilst results haven't improved under him performances have. With a pre-season of building his own team and a mix of youth and experience could do well. A year or two in the Championship might even be best thing longer term.

Outside of that new structure being put in place, Les as DOF and a new CEO. Will take time to see of that will bear fruit but indicates TF has recognised things have not worked over the last few years and significant changes needed. Ramsey probably fits quite well into the set up and we need some stability.

Worried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dont think he's proved anything since he's taken over. more positve away than Harry but that wouldn't have been hard? not won a home game, think he was out of his depth, but was always going to get the job seeing as the DOF is his mate.and an easy way out for the board,

I don't think Gary Monk has the same win/loss ratio as CR....so probably not the best comparison.

Hope it's a football based desicion and not some PC crap.. Between les and CR a lot of political agendas have been raised about racism in football rather than CRs inability to win games and Les failure to do his job and bring in players in the January window. We tick all the PC boxes black owner black director of football and now black manager. We won't win promotion but there'll be an excellent soap opera about us...

What happened to the dream manager.. We're an absolute shambles club.. All those good managers/coaches out there and we go for another short sited, political appointment if true.

What happened to interviewing candidates properly etc. Instead of going for the 1st bloke who chucks his hat in the ring.

We're going to give the job to a bloke who plays a holding midfielder left wing and leaves to natural attacking full back on the bench for a couple of center halves, when we need to attack and win games!
I have to agree with all of this except the part of not renewing your season ticket but that's your call! Ramsey has proven to be tactically inept, he's had a fair few matches to prove himself and has only proven to me that he's not up to the job, I wonder what the hell is going on in the boardroom with TF and LF? I hope this is just paper talk!

As in: our new policy (4 years too late if you ask me) is that of saving money. Because no way Ramsey could now ask for and get as high a salary as a more promising manager like (insert any of the dozen or so names speculated on here).
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

Ugh... Well I guess Ramsey has got the team playing ever so slightly better; he seemed like he cared, probably takes training and knows who the young players are, I do just about tend to prefer his starting lineups to the ones before, and sometimes we even attack away. But Harry set the bar ridiculously low so it's hard to tell whether the positives from Ramsey are just the bare minimum any competent professional manager ought to be doing.

The management of the West Ham game was inexusable though, and should really have ruled him out of the job. I'm still completely baffled as to what was going through his head while we were coating our way to effective relegation with 4 centre backs and 3 defensive mids on the pitch, vs a team who had given up for summer.

I'll back him, of course. But based on what I've seen from him so far this would be a pretty poor appointment.
