    Big decision for Fernandes now.

Choice 1, keep all the better players, let the rubbish go and go up as champions next season, even with Ramsey.

Or the alternative, which is to allow the good ones to leave and blow any chance at all of coming back up for many years.

Suspect he'll go for the latter, as he hasn't yet shown any signs of learning a single thing about football.

Agree with this. Plus I expected more fight from him on and off camera. Nice guy; a solid #2.

How do you reckon this team would have done in the championship this season? Mid table at best for me...

The worst in PL history. Surely?

The first choice may leave us with a bunch of decent but sulking first teamers, that will end up leaving for nothing when their contract runs out, when we could have got something for them if we sell them this summer.

I get the feeling there's no easy way out of this. It's going to be painful whatever way.

We need to build a football club from the ground up, which would be achievable, but will never happen, because if we lose a few games or more in the early stages of it, the fans will demand sackings, demand more signings etc etc

Appoint Ramsay (or whoever can build a team for next year without a massive budget) get a squad built as quickly as possible from lower league and youngsters and anyone still here who is willing to work their #### off. Make it abundantly clear to all that it may not be the smoothest ride, but that we're committed to doing it properly. Get back to being a selling club, that brings in rough diamonds, and tries to polish them up and then sell them on, and the fans don't demand someone's head when it happens.

Get frustrations 77 but your wrong. The home form had gone under Harry with mid dec being last time we won and we lost to Sheffield Utd in that. This season we have been poor at home and even worse away

The bush should have been our fortress but apart from what a 6week purple patch we have dropped points at home

Harry clearly had managed a few seasons too long, and his constant display of disinterest on the sideline was depressing. Chris Ramsey is a nice guy who's worked his way up, but like Harry he never once accepted any responsibility for bad results. Is it just a part of PL culture that no one owns up to being responsible for anything? If I'm QPR's manager, I make it clear to the team and the fans that we're going to leave it all out on the field, every minute of every game, and that just showing up isn't good enough. Burnley will likely be relegated, as predicted, by season's end, but that's a football club making up for lack of wage money with spirit and moxie. We need to be more like that.

What's done us bud was the away efforts 11 defeats on trot no points at all was unforgivable that's killed us. Even one win would have kept us lively but defeat after defeat after defeat and #####s on this site blaming luck and making excuses for the p odd poor efforts was the prob We should have outed HR after Newcastle or Swansea on away efforts alone

Id keep Ramsey on for next year unless someone with a proven record like Big Sam is available however....Redknapp might not have kept us up BUT we would have been in with a shout right down to the last day..no doubt IMHO.

The knee jerk reaction would be to actually offer him a new contract. How anybody can justify doing exactly that is beyond me, and I quite like him. Like I said before if Timmy or someone else had taken the job until seasons end, and we'd had exactly the same set of results and performances, along with the crazy team selections, substitutions and 'tactics', would you be clamouring for a contract extension. The answer is most probably NOT ! I have no idea what the answers are but that is certainly NOT it. Give me strength, geeze !

We lost again -- predictably -- because we've always found a way to do that this season. With that said, offer the following suggestions moving forward: (1) lose all of the underachievers and under-committed -- Taraabt, Caulker, Krancjar, Wright-Phillips, et alia; (2) tell Ramsey he needs to motivate the fans as well as the players, not with cliches in press conferences but with an expressed determination to do better, or demote him back to youngsters; (3) trade Charlie (he's been awesome but we'll never keep him now) and rebuild front line with speed. The good news is we have the beginnings of a solid Championship contender: McCarthy...Onouha...Dunne...Yun...Furlong...Fer... .Phillips...Barton (I hope)...Greco-Cox...Petrasso...Zamora. Bring in two strikers, two midfielders by transfer, and one wing back, and we'll compete for promotion once again.
Zamora? You have to be kidding...

                                Depends really.

If the correct team was selected and tactics used, then we could have won it comfortably.

But you are right, with the two managers keep making the same mistakes over and over again, we would have fallen short of the top 6.
