All this talk about staying in the prem blah blah . When relegation is confirmed we need someone who's going to stop the rot , turn it round and get us back there first !!! Something we struggled to do for 15 years not all that long ago .

We need a overhaul of club policy. We keep getting it wrong we need stability and build some foundations. We keep going up in a mess and it's costing us.
Bournemouth will fair better tan us next year imo. A team built on youth, passion and pace. It can be done we just need to the right person to do implement it.

McCarthys been in the Premiership 4 times and been relegated twice (ok one of those he was only at the club for 2 months), also 1 season only managed to stay up by 1 point!... His Premiership record hardly feels me with confidence. I'd rather give CR a chance in the Championship to build a young squad with fight.SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

staying up twice even if it is by only a point far exceeds what qpr have done in the last 5 years. but its not only that. He has spent £10 thousand pounds on his ipswich squad and they are basically the same point that we were at this time last season even though we spent tens of millions for the same result. Not only that, he uses youth players and finds players from the lower leagues that get the same outcome as our bunch of millionaire mercinaries. our points haul to pounds spent ratio must be at least 1000 times more expensive than what the ipswich ratio must be for basically the same result points wise
As for steadying the ship, ipswich were bottom and on a run of 13 games without a win when he arrived, he got them on a 13 game unbeaten run to keep them from being relegated, 2 years later they are in the playoffs. Even if they go up and do get relegated, its an amazing achievement, he is the only manager for our club in this perilous time for the club in my opinion.Last edited by Toninho; 28-04-2015, 01:46 PM.

Which is exactly what he is doing with Ipswich, Spent £10 thousand on his squad and basically has the same number of points that our championship galacticos costing tens of millions achieved. How many of the Ipswich squad can you name??
Turned a 13 game run with no wins and bottom position into a 13 game unbeaten run and 12th position as soon as he arrived there, 9th the following year and 5th this year. Only uses youth players and bargains scouted from lower divisions. and will now have continuous playoff football each year until they are promoted.
CR is a nice guy, but it takes more than playing players in their correct positions (a luxury for qpr) to be a good manager. If CR is in charge next year, and we do not make the playoffs, I will be reminding everyone about this post because Ipswich will be above us come the end of the season (if they are not promoted this season)Last edited by Toninho; 28-04-2015, 01:48 PM.

2012 Ipswich. The first season was about guiding them to safety from bottom of the league and run of 13 matches without a win, He put together a run of 13 matches without a defeat and dragged them up to 14th place. The following year took 9th place. And this year 5th place with 1 game left.
That said everything there is to say about CR. Rome was never built in 90 minutes!
