Guys your deluded if you think we will get 15 mill plus for Charlie with 12 months to go. If he had 24 months left I'm with you we would be holding out for 15-20 mill.

He's been in the prem 1 year and done well but with a year left we wil get 12 mill tops. McCormack had 4 years left in his contract. That inflated his price. We will most likely be a championship club and selling a striker for 12 mill would still be bloody good busines considering his contract situation.

You have to consider his contract length and when comparing him to other strikers who went for big money what there's was.

Of course not. 4 or 5 mill each striker at least. So getting 10 to 12 mill for Charlie is a must.

It cant just work one way

Has he earned a move yes he has no doubt about that but that move cannot happen at the expense of QPR, so many moan about running the club as a busniness well lets start now by showing no sentiment and holding on to our asset unless our valuation is met!! If we get what he is worth then everyone is a winner but if clubs think they can offer £10 to 12mil no chance.. Charlie prepare yourself for the slog of the championship as your worth more to us trying to get promoted then £10mil over three seasons
Nothing to do with the shoe being on the other foot. It just proves player power once again in modern day football. What you say in principle is spot on but in reality it is just a dream from a passionate fan that loves his club
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I couldn't careless about McCormack contract length, he didn't play in the prem, with the new money splashing about plus the need for English players dictates that we get top dollar!!!!

Hard ball, if we get to keep him for twelve month we win! If we can write £60m for mug mistakes we can add his value to that sum, as I said, if we don't get the price we want, #### LF right off!!!!
          Kept the faith!

Sell him and invest the money in a young pacey striker and central midfielder

17 PREMIER LEAGUE goals only worth 15-20 million?!?!?! Try starting at £35-£40m!! If TF sells for anything less he will lose any respect the fans have for him!

TBH the way Charlie played against West Ham is an indication that his heart is no longer at our club.

I feel the same. IMO he has already decided to leave, he's done his obligatory 2 years with us and now its time for him to move up a level. He bottled it with the pen yesterday and was virtually non existent. I would take the 10 mill in the summer and move on. People talking about playing hard ball and making him stay but what if we dont go up next year? we lose him for free and are still in the championship. Is it worth risking a guaranteed 10 mill to spend on new players who will (hopefully) want to play for us for the risky chance of a 90 mill (whatever it is) promotion jackpot if he stays (albeit unhappily and with no guarantee he will play well)? If TF has his business hat on there is only one decision there.

At £10mil the decision is no deal Hove. We can all debate if its right to sell or hold him to his contract but £10mil is giving him away!!!! We paid £8mil for Jordan my hamstrings don't work Mutch how can Austin who has got nearly 20 goals be worth just £2mil more

I'd tell him to stay until January where if we aren't challenging we'll put him up for sale if he wants

We didnt. Thought it was more like £4-5 mill.

Be prepared to be disappointed Westie cos IMO he's already gone and the fee will not be much more than £10 mill. Also having 1 year left on his deal is a major disadvantage for us in terms of negotiating and this devalues him massively. Its another balls up from our board who strangely only gave him a 3 year deal after paying £4.5 mill for him and then in the summer wasnt able to agree a new deal with him. The problem is fans see this situation as fans, don't want to lose their star man for a fraction of what he is worth but he isn't really worth his true value because of the contract situation, TF will see this situation as a businessman and take the money
