It is unbelievable that the guy doing the fixtures finds it fair for QPR to play Newcastle away and Swansea away within four days of each other.

I just hope that the guys are not too jaded to put in a good performance.

If I was manager, I would give them the incentive of ten days off should they get all three points tomorrow.

The FA and the football league don't care about the players or the fans, but at least our club can afford to fly the players to these fixtures unlike most clubs. So it should not be too taxing on the players. It only took about an hour to fly to Newcastle. The players were tucked up in bed long before us mortals were half way home.

Well how do think Newcastle or Plymouth players feel when similar happens to them.

Do you really think computers take all this into consideration when compiling fixtures ?? come a long way,but they do not have emotions just yet !!

They'll need the break and it will be well earn't. Just hope we don't go off the boil.

After that though 4 out of the next 5 are at home. We need to make LR a fortress again.
Without sounding over confident the only ones that I am worried about are Preston at home and Derby away. All the others are winnable on current form. We could make great progress in the next month.
18th August 2011. The day we got our Rangers back

Apparently thats not really the issue. Its simply that a finely tuned athlete needs a certain amount of recovery time inbetween matches to return to peak fitness levels, not to mention the training sessions, warm ups, warm downs in the intervening days. So nothing to do with it being a hard job or not, its basic human physics, and not really comparable to a 9 to 5 job.
