  • Odds of winning those three matches

In 2013/14, the odds of a home win were 47% and the odds of an away win were 32%.

Very generously assuming we are an average PL team, the odds of winning those three matches are:
    0.47 x 0.47 x 0.32 = 0.07 = 7%

Of course we might fail to win those three but still end up with 9 points or more, and this might be a record season where somebody stays up with less than 35 points. On the flip side, 35 points might not be enough. If we say those things along with our generous assumption that we are an average PL team all balance out, our odds of staying up are: 7%

You know Rangers will win an unexpected 3 points, but lose one off the home games

I got a feeling west spam will do us but we might do Liverpool and get a point against City!! Would put us on 30 with 2 games to go!
Beat Newcastle and then it's a final against Leicester!

If it does come down to the last game that could be better than winning at Wembley

35 points will be enough comfortably.

You're asking Hull to get 7 points, no chance with their form and games.

Sunderland need 6 points, I just can't see them winning games, draw specialists.

Burnley need 3 wins, won 5 all season, 2 this year, bye bye.

Leicester need 10 points, a tough ask but they score goals and are in form. They have decent games and I fancy them to survive, along with ourselves.

I think 7 points keeps us up.

Matty you think like me and we seem to have found the nack of not just scoring but spreading goals around at the right time

Hopefully good day of results so games are even and we plough on next week

I agree mate. If Burnley get a result that'll put a spanner in the works, they're similar to Sunderland though and draws are seen as good results for them, it's not enough for them.

I fancy Leicester today but so does everyone and we'll see what they're made of. They have to win and the last time they were expected to win was after the United game and they struggled for months.

I'd take Leicester drawing today but hopefully Swansea and Everton do the job. I fully expect Everton to win as they've had a poor season and are trying to make up for it. Swansea are going for their record points tally and could pick an gung-ho Leicester off, I hope so.
