This is the most staggering thing Lyme. After costing the club all that money as well as the badwill (I invented that word by the way)

I love the statement from the club too:

"As a club we take the welfare and enjoyment of all fans at Loftus Road very seriously. We are disappointed if on a small number of occasions this falls shorts of the standards we would expect. We regret the fact that these supporters in question felt they had to take legal action to seek redress and would like to apologise to them for any distress caused by this process. "

Basically, they're saying that they are aware (but couldn't give a single sh*t) they sometimes f uck up, and don't understand why fans might feel the need to expect recompense for being treated like a criminal. Glad we cleared that up Rangers, well done.

sadly society in general has a very low opinion of football supporters, we all seem to be tarred with the same brush. I suggest if this woman continues to behave in an obnoxious manner and the club refuse to take any action, the supporters must vent their concerns to the appropriate people at the club.
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

i sit in the west paddock and have had run ins to with stewards in the past , from a big african steward that thought it was ok to push children celebrating a goal , to a manic bird earlier this season that wanted to check your ticket every time you went to the toilet . what upset me last season for no reason a steward pulled me outside the turnstile whilst i was with my 2 kids . he said " search" to which i complied. i went on to ask him " why have you searched me when i'm with 2 children and not searched those 3 blokes that walked in before me " ." he said you're not coming in i don't like your attitude" ....... I then pleaded with the head steward the bloke with the grey crop a QPR fan for his support , he said i have to say sorry to the steward or i can't come in . i was gobsmacked the 2 kids were already in the ground so i had to get in . i'm ashamed of myself for apologising to him. i will never speak to the head steward again for bottling it , he's seen me for years home and away and knows i'm no trouble .... i was going to jack it in after that but got over it . well done to the two blokes for winning their cases and shame on the club for the way they acted.... i was a steward at the club 30 years ago , if you talk to fans with respect 99% of the time they will do as you ask ......... please QPR employ fans again

I know the exact mug steward you're talking about. I put it on him a couple of years back outside the Loft entrance at SAR, when he was getting lippy to a young fella who was very polite. He shat himself. Been there for years he has & should no better. Sees me now and he's all smiles and hello's, I just blank the mug.

Have to say that we have never had any trouble whatsover at the entrance to JU with stewards but often see friction down by the Blue and White bar at half time with stewards

Recently far more relaxed down there when I pop down at HT for a swift fag but, like you Beefy, no problems these days at LU

I've lost a bit of love for the club after reading this. I get the feeling they just see us fans as mugs.

Anyone here sit in Ellerslie? There's an African steward who works there (usually on T or S Block), probably in his late 50's, and for some reason he feels the need to try and mug off anyone under the age of 30. He asks to see our "tickets" (which these days are just our membership cards) before letting us take our seats, and gives plenty of lip if you decline to show him. I've asked him why he needs to see them, given the fact that we have already entered through the turnstile, and he clams up. Yet he still does it every time we go. Is this common policy around the ground? If so, any ides what the purpose of it is? It certainly pisses me off, especially when he asks some fans and not others. Its these little things that can result in situations getting out of hand. I don't really expect a mugging off from a steward for a ticket that I've already bought and used to gain entry to the ground.

I can't recall them even asking to look at my ticket in R Block this season.

This is exactly what annoys me. There doesn't seem to be any need to look at the tickets after you're in the ground, other than to give it the b ollocks.

Yes, they should be there to help if needed, that's all with regards to tickets.

Is it possible that some fans get in by slipping gate stewards a few bob away from the stadium, and that's why some stewards check?

with regard to someone saying the club dont give a fark....... i totally agree with you. the only way they will listen is the next time someone gets chucked out, the whole block should leave too.

It will never happen though as no one sticks together.
