Some of our fans are still in love with the guy that bored Loftus Road to tears.

Felt more sorry for John Gregory to be honest.

I know - Holloways tactics were unbelievable at times...

I'm guessing if Sousa said HH failed a medical that might be an issue, as he never did

            Of course he did.

Just a big rumour that stuck, with the story diggers. He played for Iceland 3 days before he signed, but we have moved on and doing well, so its best left in the past.

And some are still a teeny bit obsessed.

              As this week has shown.

Pete playing for Iceland and passing a medical at QPR are 2 different things.

whenever this comes up you always come back with this playing for iceland thing but it is completely irrelevant

                  Of course its relevant.

International countries do not play unfit players, its pretty simple.

Even a slight injury they would know about.

It is completely irrelevant and you must surely know it, being able to play 90 minutes in a game is not the same as passing a medical and no proof that a player could at that time pass a medical. A medical is not like a pre match fitness test.

that fact that you keep referring to the game suggests that you either know he didnt pass a medical or you are not sure, either way its a very poor attempt at deflection that I am sure most people must see through, arent you embarrassed to keep using it?

                      No,I'm not.

Very clever use of words, but most people are not stupid.

if you play for your country, you must be fit.

If you play for your club you must be fit !!

its pretty simple and not really worth arguing about. I find it astonishing that I am now accused of bringing it up, when it was mentioned earlier in this thread more than once.

peteg, reality is and I say it again, if you are not fit you certainly cannot play for your country in an International game or sign for a club 3-4 days later. its only the people looking for a story, who made one up, with the words chosen By Sousa as an excuse to expand a story.

being "fit" has absolutely nothing to do with "passing a medical" as most of us know, how many times have we seen a player that is playing for his team "fail a medical" i know for a "fact" there have been a few, a medical is mainly to see if there's any problems with the player "long term" not to see if he's "fit" or not

                        hope that clears that up!

Sorry Pete your answers above appear to disclose a serious lack of understanding about transfers and medicals and football in general. If you really believe what you have said then you need to do a bit of education on the subject before you talk about it again with any authority.

What absolute tosh Pete - countries frequently ignore clubs requests not to play players as they are carrying an injury - exactly that happened to the Arsenal forward (russian guy) whose name escapes me recently and he made the injury worse and is out for an extended period.

As most people with a grain of intelligence suspected all along.

                                Hence the lawsuit.
