He's trying to build a new stadium, a new academy/training ground, and invest in the squad. Sure, he's encountered a few hurdles, such as the Warren Farm protestors and Car Giant, along with failed managers, but his vision and efforts have been admirable.

There's a small but very loud group on here not willing to buy into his vision for the club. Fair enough, but it seems like that 15 year period from the 96 relegation never happened. They seem to conveniently forget those very dark days. It's not a period I ever want to revisit, but it's possible if this vocal minority succeed in driving out this current board, which will eventually happen if Tony steps down and begins to lose interest.
So basically what your saying is Fernandes ,took a top flight football club ,breaking even and playing good football and gave lots of promises about a new ground , training facilities and stability in the Prem ,and couldn`t deliver any of it . FFS the bloke promised us a new club crest and hasn`t even been able to deliver that . Turned the club right around from breaking even with no debt ,to losing money hand over fist .
How you can blame the fans who have justifiably raised concerns about the unsustainable way the club has been run ,is beyond me . Make no mistake if we do go back to the dark days as you put it ,it will all be down to Fernandes and the board ,spending far beyond our meens.

Takes a number of years to open a new stadium, particularly in London. I thought you knew that? Perhaps I'm wrong.

The Emirates took many years, Spurs have had plans for many years likewise. Chelsea have been looking for a new site too. It takes time for these things.

As for the debt, didn't you know it's owed to the owners, not any off shore bank? It's their money that's at risk, and LR can't be sold off to cover any debt because it's protected by a covenant.

Really don't know why you get so angry about it. The debt is a tiny percentage of the overall wealth of the owners. It's them that'll take the hit not you or I.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Look, I know very well that MYU does not like my attitude on the matter and neither do some other mods. But they can live with that and so can I. We can still run the forum efficiently together because we have been doing this for years and we trust each other. It works, whether you like it or not. And if I decided to leave, some would only be too happy to accuse MYU and other mods of currying favour with the current club regime and pushing out dissenters. We had plenty BS like that when Gianni was chairman, we ain't having any more now. We may have different views but we will always have a common cause.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

Well said gentlemen, I concur 100%.

For me, the key is that we have a chairman whose actions show that he cares about the club and the fans, in stark contrast to the previous regime whose only interest in us was as a business that they could buy and then sell on for a profit. Not to mention their utter contempt for the fans, which some seem to be conveniently forgetting.

Yes, the TF regime has made mistakes and has also been very unlucky with managerial appointments that on the face of it looked like good appointments but very unexpectedly failed miserably. The level of debt does concern me but I believe that if you have the right person in charge it will all come good in the end, and I believe that Tony is the right person.

Dear dear, trust you to pipe up again. No need to get all high and mighty from behind your keyboard just because I have a different view of things.

dont forget that 5 - 6 years ago before Tango and Cash took over we were on the verge of a second administration. It could get bad again.
