Seeing as he promised to bring stability to the club when he took over in 2011, that's quite some going. If we finished 10th every season, I don't think you'd hear a single complaint on this forum.

Surely not. TF is as a good a footbal club chairman as it gets. We are so lucky
Banning people is no longer my hobby,

I suppose not. But Man City and Wembley were special. And WBA and Villa too. Hopefully Sunday, too. Don't get those highs finishing tenth........ Could do without the lows, though.

Tony is such a drama queen.

If he's staying I really wish he'd get off Twitter!

Or, alternatively, let him focus on Twitter if he likes it so much, and let someone else actually run the club.

I think I could argue quite confidently that it hasn't. Talking about fans wanting to go back to the dark days of the late 90's really is ridiculous, and I honestly don't think you truly believe that to be the case. What we want is financial backing, a sensible business model, and a chairman capable of making logical decisions, not rooted in short-termism. Not too much to ask for. Could Fernandes make good on his promises and ambitions for the club? Possibly. All the "minority" are saying is that we won't be holding our breath...and neither should you.
Don't expect a response to this logical and well written post mate. Some people on here seem to think that if you dare to critisise the great man then you instantly want the club to go back to collecting in buckets and knocking about the bottom of the championship.

Exactly. Much as people love to place you in the FOR or AGAINST camp, as usual the truth lies in the shades of grey.

Personally I'm not calling for his resignation, but because I'm not one of his personality-cult followers, that in no way means some of the criticism isn't fully justified.

Even our greatest ever Chairman Jim Gregory made mistakes at times - so criticism was justified then too, just as much his lauds and eulogies. It goes with the territory.

Steve Burtinshaw being one of them.

think we all know the answer to that.!!

more chance of a rainbow haired, green pixie named Nigel winning the grand national on the back of a stick insect called Kevin whilst wearing QPR dad's sombrero and whistling the birdie song on a kazoo!!

If we finished 10th every season, people would honestly get bored with this, it happened before under Gerry Francis, we had a couple of fantastic seasons finishing in top half but then current Chairman wanted to cash in on the players and the whole downward spiral started. It is all relative, what we have now is hugely different and better than 10 years ago, when we were back in League One or Championship but over pricing and lack of unity between players and fans causes rifts within clubs and fan bases. Social media has also been detrimental to how we all are, as now we can talk to 100 people at a time rather than to just Phil and Mark in the Blue and White Club before a game, so something between 3 people is now shared across 500 people and so the circle goes on and rifts are created within our own fan base.
TF uses Social Media too which i think is probably his biggest mistake but then again as soon as anything happens everyone craves his opinion or is awaiting his tweet, so he can't really win. I stick by my support of TF as I believe his vision is what the club requires to continue to challenge at the top level of football and to me he is a likeable man.

Anyone defending TF can go and support Brentford. You are clearly one of TFs paid for lackies.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
