...spend 45 mins chatting to Gorman/Magilton/Calderwood and Hughton last night?

Got invited to the post match beer with them all. It was totally brilliant. Gorman is the most decent bloke ever, Jim has a lot of presence and is very big personality. After the Rangers crew left Hughton took us on a mini tour of the dressing rooms, pitch, physio room etc etc. They all were so decent.

Also John Beresford bought me a bottle of wine after I bet him we'd get at least at draw.

    WHAT A DAY.......

They were really open. I said that I thought we started the season really poorly. Gorman agreed but said that they were undecided on the best starting 11. He believes that were are almost therenow and has a proper idea of best team. He was full of praise for Rowlands/Watson. Hughton really rates Watson and wanted him for Newcastle. Also said that Faurlin is class, actual quote was 'never gives the ball away.' they really rate Routledge but are constantly on at him to improve end product.

....also said that Tarrabt is fearless and always wants the ball. Nerves of steel but has to pass more. Highly rated, Calderwood laughed and called him Acrobat.

Sound likes a quality night, good to hear their views on things.

Agree about Taarabt the guy does always want the ball. And hopefully Faurlin will turn out to be a decent signing!

No didn't mention it. Should have done come to think of it.

Hughton was impressed with us, best side they have played so far, impressed with our mobility in midfield and the way we kept the ball. He also rates Routledge, very dangerous.

My mate has a lot of ex Tottenham contacts and arranged for the meal etc. The meeting after the game was a total suprise.

Hughton is a great guy and always has time for anyone. Underrated coach too.

Sounds like a quality night. Apart from strikers, did they talk about adding a couple of more loan signings for other positions or is that it until January?
