That's why I'm hoping its not too bad because any half decent physio would take them off if so. Expect crutches are simply to keep weight off the knee prior to proper scan and treatment.

can't be too serious although he looked in real trouble when he went down.

Will be a strain (2 weeks out max) IMHO

Had many injuries where I thought that's me done but after the initial pain / worry you can crack on

Faurlin Walked off the pitch along the touchline with his current ACL so it could still be very serious. Physio can only go by what the player says at the time. It may have been that Vargas only thought he had twisted it. Here's hoping for good news for him.

It looked like a bad one to me!

Vargas' face after trying to run it off said it all, I think he knew that it was a serious one. Just our luck isn't it and exactly the same situation as Leroy Fer. A player that has done very little all season finally finds a bit of form then immediately get injured!

Yes, with that type of injury, it's usually only changing direction that shows the real damage.

Read it, doesn't mean much till the scan is done.

I remember us being told Kevin Gallen had a minor knee injury only to get the bad news about his ACL after the scan came back later.

This particular injury followed a very familiar pattern, and given our history of knee injuries, you can forgive us for bracing for the worst...

Vargas looks like a new player under CR, I hope he's back very soon, we need him.

                              Get well soon.
