Why not? Because it isn't his job, that's why not. I can take a pretty good guess that he is there to scrutinize the finances at the club, compile scouting reports, develop a transfer policy, watch the youth sides, plan for next season, make contract decisions, compile applications and interview the next manager etc. - that's what a DOF does. Not give out training sessions to one player. You don't have to know the inner workings of the club to understand that.Last edited by surrey_hoop; 31-03-2015, 10:54 AM.

Okay nice one. As long as hes doing all that important stuff and is busy and not bothering helping with the players in our fight to stay up cos its 'not his job' up then all is well.Originally posted by surrey_hoop View PostWhy not? Behave yourself. His job is much bigger than giving personal training sessions, it really is as simple as that. You clearly have absolutely no idea what role a DOF is supposed to perform at a football club, if you think that a) this is a viable use of his time and b) he doesn't have bigger problems on his plate.Originally posted by Kevin Mcleod View PostOkay nice one. Dof's job is to talk about racism to the press and get sent off for rucking in the tunnel.Originally posted by surrey_hoop View PostBehave yourself. Exactly agree a DOFs job is awy form the training ground there are plenty of others to do that, as for is any good as DOF from what we've seen so far and the club being in a mess & his comments last week thought he'd have enough on his plate without being involved in other issues

Don't really see what the issue is just seems more toys being thrown out the pram from the people who loved Redknapp
Ferdinand shouldn't be judged on his role for at least 2-3 years he has a massive job to change the whole ethos of the club and anyone who expects instant results will be very disappointedWe Are The People.....

Not so sure about the 1st part, but agree with what you're saying..... listening to Les in interviews talking about what he wants for the club, the background of the club regarding how we used to be so youth dependent, the 'natural qpr' passion he brings with him (somthing we've not had for a very long time!!)... to get this over to all of both players/staff will take time.Originally posted by Rangersw12 View PostDon't really see what the issue is just seems more toys being thrown out the pram from the people who loved Redknapp

I think he was referring to Redknapp calling the Director of Football job a "stupid title", and basically undermining Ferdinand and the work he was doing almost before he'd even started.Originally posted by Nick View PostNot so sure about the 1st part, but agree with what you're saying..... listening to Les in interviews talking about what he wants for the club, the background of the club regarding how we used to be so youth dependent, the 'natural qpr' passion he brings with him (somthing
