Ferdinand shouldn't be judged on his role for at least 2-3 years he has a massive job to change the whole ethos of the club and anyone who expects instant results will be very disappointed

I personally think it's a good appointment and about time we had a semblance of a long term plan and as fans we need to show some patience as I think it will get worse before it gets betterWe Are The People.....

I remember plenty moaned that the board knew nothing about football and we needed a football man at director level. Well we have one now, so he should be given the chance to do what the job entails (no idea myself) and let the coaches coach.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Hopefully he spends the near future overhauling our coaching setup and brings the club into the 21st century, though that will mean sacking a lot of people and I get the feeling the club is too chummy at the moment.
