Not sure he ever undermined Les or his role just probably didnt understand it (like most of us)

Ferdinand shouldn't be judged on his role for at least 2-3 years he has a massive job to change the whole ethos of the club and anyone who expects instant results will be very disappointed
I dont think he should or ever would be either, i just pointed out what charlie said. Also i just wonder if its another rush into it 'appease the fans' job, and i am not sure if it will affect a promising new manager coming in who may not want to work with a dof.

Ha ha. Could well be if we want a 'dream' manager.

It could be an appointment to appease the fans but who knows, I'm willing to give him a chance

I personally think it's a good appointment and about time we had a semblance of a long term plan and as fans we need to show some patience as I think it will get worse before it gets better

I remember plenty moaned that the board knew nothing about football and we needed a football man at director level. Well we have one now, so he should be given the chance to do what the job entails (no idea myself) and let the coaches coach.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Yep your right about the long term that's def , yes there is need for a show of patience inside the club and by the fans , I've met and spoken to Les and can tell you he knows his football has his badges , at the moment with the clubs predicament it should be all hands to the pumps , therefor I cant see les being so busy as a dof that he cant offer something at Sipson , seem like fiddling while Rome burns to me

Yep, don't know how people can complain he's not coaching the first team.

Hopefully he spends the near future overhauling our coaching setup and brings the club into the 21st century, though that will mean sacking a lot of people and I get the feeling the club is too chummy at the moment.
