I'm awake!
Cor ... I needed that kip! Great day out .... well earned point (should have been 3) Had a chat with a Geordie copper as I was leaving the stadium (that stand is very impressive, but too damn high to watch a football match from every other week) he was very complimentry towards the Rangers team, saying our pass and move play was sharp and direct, so much so that it stopped Newcastle's game - He said, QPR were by far the best side to play at St James Park this season, and also singled out Simpson, Gorkss and Routledge as a real handful ..... it's nice to hear possitive coments about our team.
I'm glad to report that the Newcastle police were very friendly and chatty to both sets of fans, both inside and out of the stadium ...... don't know how many Hoops were there last night, I only saw a handful of empty seats in our section :boss:
Now I'm relishing the Swansea game on Saturday .... Come on you R'ss!
