  • Regarding TF should step down

I don't agree with this sentiment. I think he has genuinely good intentions in his heart and wants to do the right thing for the club. But the problem is,

He is more worried about tarnishing his 'good owner image' than being a 'successful owner'.

Football is now a business and you gain absolutely nothing just by being a 'good owner' not to mention while losing millions every season! That's just plain stupid. TF needs to be more ruthless. Being ruthless doesn't necessarily mean a trigger-happy owner rather someone who is brave and prudent enough to make the right call at the right time without worrying lest he be criticized and ruined his image.

For instance, he should have sacked Harry right after Christmas so that the new manager could have had a full month before the January transfer window closed. And since he didn't, he should have backed Harry to give the club some hope to stay in the PL especially when the money was available after the sale of Mutch. But he did neither and forced Harry out though backroom politics so that his 'good owner' image remains intact.

It's good to see him trying to bring club legends back but let's just keep sentiment aside and put the right people in the right place. Also he needs to introduce performance-based pay structures so that leeches like SWP doesn't hang around like a bad smell while milking the club every last penny. A low basic wage which is highly-incentivized is the way to go forward.

I agree with you and also if Tony left we'll back where we were, no chance in hell coming back up. As a club we couldn't even be able to offered to match wages with other clubs, we'd stand no chance and who would take over?

I'd like him gone tbh, nothings happened since when he's come & we're 205m in debt

      I want my Rangers back
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

What do you actually want from an owner, other than someone who will be open with fans, look to develop the long term infrastructure of the club and provide funds for managers in the transfer window when needed....????

        Careful what you wish for.

Bottom line is no matter who comes in, people will moan about spending, not spending, giving instructions to the manager, not giving them, not being open, being to open.

No one can win and that is a 100% fact!

Indeed. Perhaps some think we'd be better off with the likes of Vincent Tan who would change the kit to Red & White, then probably lose the Hoops altogether as bad luck in his native country....

Nothing to do with the owner. To be honest I think we are extremely lucky to have such an ambitious owner. The only way I'd have a problem with him is if he becomes a dictator over my football club and/or he leaves us massively in debt. He found us as a newly promoted football club and we still are a newly promoted football club. We are little Qpr, we don't have a Devine right to be in this league.

The sooner people get that in their heads the better. No one else would want to own qpr and make us a top club

In debt with who? And when are we expected to pay this back to the people we owe it to? Be a sad day when we have to start paying it back to who we owe it to and the pies are fifty quid a pop, and shudder to think how much a season ticket will be.
Nothings happened?? Three seasons in the premiership and the best day of my life last may has happened in my awful memory.
Why do we as rangers always have to have a 'hate figure' that we want out? Baffles me.

I'm sorry guys but it's hugely worrying being that much in debt

Things change, people change. Anything could happen.

I'm sorry it's not popular, it's just I believe this isn't QPR that I know

Why? If he leaves do you not think he will sell to someone who will deal with the debt and be able take the club forward?

Spot on, and I find people who disagree with this post a tad spoilt to be fair. Some of them might even have been Chelsea fans in a former life.

Careful, people will attack you for suggesting that Shania
