With Liverpool and sell-on fees a talking point of late, QPR's former chairman has revealed the London club would get 20% of any fee Liverpool received if the club sold Raheem Sterling.

Me too - think in the championship he would be a stand out player and still has a lot of potential!!

Let's be honest our team is poor this year and his confidence is shot! If we were to sell him now unless it was for very decent money I think it would be a massive mistake!!

I just hope the players we signed at beggining of the year all have reduced salary decreases in them!

No doubt someone like Palace would come in for him with a £6m+ bid for him. They have Damien Delaney playing for them ffs.

with a possible £26M from selling these 3 players QPR could use it to rebuild. The trick is to buy early before selling in order to avoid price hikes.

                    Austin £12M
                    Fer £8M
                    Sandro £6M

McCarthy and Green if he stays would keep goal.
I'd keep Caulker and Onuoha if they are willing to stay as a CB pairing. I haven't seen enough of the young players tbh, but Furlong & Robinson as full backs could make it a useful back 4.
Henry for a DM role and Phillips for the right wing and Yun for the left. A creative midfielder needs to be signed either permanently or on a season long loan.
I would then use some of the transfer kitty to sign 2 strikers capable of scoring the goals to mount a challenge for promotion. Bamford could be 1 option.

There will be quite a few players available on frees from the UK and abroad that will be worth looking into signing.

Dunne could be offered a new 1 year deal along with Henry and possibly Faurlin and Barton on a much reduced salary.
I doubt if he would stay, but Taarabt could be a very important player for the team.

Knowing how luck with injuries, sterling would get injured so know one would want him

He is if he had 2 years left on his deal and did not seek a move. Probably worth £20-25M at least, but next season he will be in his final year, so his value would not be as high as we would like.

A bit of both it seems ?
£600k up front, almost £4.5m in appearance, trophy & international call ups
And 20% of any sell on fee !

Quite an outstanding deal if the article is to be believed, we could have made £25m on him by next August !

Of course, considering Sterlings achievements at Liverpool, I've read no evidence of us getting a penny so far ! I doubt the appearance clause stated over 100 appearances (he must be getting close) or the International clause state anything he hasn't already achieved.

Oh yeah, and when did we start believing Paladini ?

And I would say Sandro is worth less than that (injury wise)
