Yes, they picked up a few loans, but their decision cost us automatic promotion, and was just through sheer luck we managed to go up via the play-offs.
Fast forward one year, and this time our board in its infinite wisdom decides to bypass the 2015 window altogether, without so much as a single loanee.
This, in my opinion, will go some way towards sealing our impending relegation.
Just hope that next January, if we really need to, we at least try to use it to our advantage, just for once.
Redknapp wanted a striker, he was given Zarate, who has prem experience. Redknapp didn't like him so didn't play him. Well that's tough. Harry got what he asked for. Can't blame the board for that.

Imo the club are reaping the benefits of forceing Redknapp out (he didnt walk ) he was forced out and quietly paid the remainder of his contract that is just untill the end of the season .
TF and the board should have acted with more honour and been more open and honest and just sacked him if they orTF wanted to listen to other people

          A few comments to the press Conference;

1)So Ramsey didn´t take Furlong off due to the fact that he lacked experience and was at fault for goals created by Bolaisie?

-Didn´t he see what we all saw. He was badly exposed. Ramsey did mention that he carried an injured, and asked to come off, but then so why did he start him at all against Bolaisie?

          2) He mentioned that he knew that Palace had several players who could cause "unpredictable" moments.

-Ok,this is true, but why didn´t we use Vargas? He is capable of doing the same. Played in his correct position, that is.

          Hmmm.

Redknapp should have resigned after the West Ham game.

We would be out of the bottom 3 with Redknapp.

Yeah because Redknapp was inspiring the team to great things wasn't he....!! FFS some people have short memories!

No points away under Redknapp, only out of the bottom 3 for the odd week yet people talk of him as if so certain we'd be in a better place. As for he knew what would happen he's so great and wise with so much experience ########, do you forget this is his squad he assembled......?

Or perhaps he knew Fer would get crocked and Barton his first red in 3 years you mean.....???

To fight a relegation, we need an experience manager, FIT players and players who still have their confidence high. Yesterday was contrary to what we fight for. The players put together to fit a new team system seems out of depth - now is not the moment to try new things in such an important match. I think after the Crystal Palace match, we are now a club in a big crisis...Redknapp should have been backed by the board in the Jan window for a player he has chosen himself - if we go down, we go down fighting to the end with the intention of remaining up! 1 extra player could have sparkled the team but unfortunately, we would never know...

Cally mate being afraid of a media backlash is so wide of the mark ! the way TF and others forced Redknapp out by starving him of funds for the window after stories of a mole and people behind the scene's mixing it for Redknapp which we all wrongly thought was Adel leaves the whole thing about Redknapps departure with a stench about it to anybody pro or anti Redknapp . , Redknapp also had agreed a list of players with T F according to W Downes jnr at the start of the window then being blocked forcing him out with his contract paid up even pro Redknapp journo's would find a clean break by sacking him far more acceptable than the way the club handled it

Sadly, the board should have had the common sense to get rid, well before the last one came around and replaced him with someone decent when available. Failing to do this led to the desperate measures they were then forced into.
Spot on. Fernandes should have sacked Redkrapp no later than the Everton defeat and appointed Pulis.

True, but QPR had drawn at home to Palace Swansea and lost to Sheff Utd and Man Utd in Redkrapp's last 4 home games and would probably have lost the games Ramsey has as well.
We all knew the 2015 home games would be tougher than the earlier season ones.
