Simple fact of the matter is that regardless of how poor anybody else is or may be for the rest of the season, unless we win points we won't be catching anybody. We have failed to win important games against Hull, Burnley and Palace because we have absolutely no idea how to defend properly. We fully deserve to go down based upon the season so far.

Quite how we could manage to go through almost an entire season and still be in the mess we are, bearing in mind just how poor some of the other sides are is simply astonishing.

We have got worse. Started alright but not winning, then got better winning home games and looked actually quite good, and now we are total and utter toilet. Cant see another point and thats being totally honest.

We can't defend, particularly against pace. After Palace got stuck into us we resorted to direct balls and austin struggles as a target man. The ball kept coming straight back and with Palace's pace they tore us apart.

After the first Palace goal it was like watching an execution. I made a note of the fact that our first worthwhile attempt on goal was an Austin header in the 72nd minute (I'm not counting a speculative shot by Adel that went over the bar in the first half).

We simply don't get players forward. We got players forward against Sunderland and we won. Why oh why have we stopped doing it?

Anyway, I just can't see us getting even one more win, never mind the four we need. We are down.

The plus is that the Championship is a vastly more competitive division than the Boring Premier League. Going into today's matches there were FOUR TEAMS with the same points at the top of the table. And THREE of those were separated by a goal difference of ONE GOAL. And even Bournemouth at the top were only another 3 goals ahead.

Not sure how we will do next season though. We are going to lose a lot of players in the summer, including the one who has been scoring over half of our goals.

and considering we have 9 more to go, I predict we beat Leicester last game of the year in a meaningless battle, but lose the next 8.

Yeah... That sums it up. We're not down yet but after today, i think we're more likely to go down than stay up. I don't blame Ramsey... He's doing his best. The squad is unbalanced, not enough pace, over reliant on one or two players. But as fans we're far too quick to look for a player to blame for every goal, to demand a change in manager, in selection policy etc. we are little qpr, we're not real madrid and we can't reasonably expect our players and staff to be faultless.

Was pretty reconciled to our fate long before Palace, probably when we failed to bring in Pullis. All season some fans have been making silly predictions -"we will win at Palace" etc - but the reality is we are a messed up club and dont have that fight/ organisation/ leadership to even carve out a few hard fought draws. Been down a while to anyone prepared to face reality.

Reminds me of Terry Connor at Wolves. Out of his depth. Don't know why he leaves subs so late. Shame really as he's a good bloke. Hope we've got someone lined up for the summer

Forget it of beating Leicester. We will loose that one as well.

We seriously lack pace, only have one regular goal scorer, and have a defence that concedes goals nearly every game.
We are as good as relegated. Just have to suffer the remaining 9 fixtures.

Writing was on the wall long ago. Redknapp saw to that then bottled it.
