  • Chopra's four on Tuesday

Just caught up with the "highlights"

How many of the four do you think were offside?

Either way, he still had to finish them. He's a predator at this level and will score well in excess of 20 this term.

Yep a very good signing sometimes you get what you pay for and in Chopra that appears to be the case.

I've never understood how Chopra looks so good at Championship level but has always struggled to make his mark at Premiership level.......All in his head I think!

Barring one season, Keving Phillips is the same. James Beattie, Diomansy Kamara, Marlon Harewood and Marlon King are all strikers who look great at this level, but never consistant at the top.

Granted, but never that consistant. I really though he'd do well at Everton, but he never cut it. All of them have had a good season or two in the Prem, but never maintained the form for long enough to warrent a longer stay. Beatie is doing well with Stoke I suppose so out of all of them I'd have to say he's better suited for the Prem.

Don't think Chop's has really been given a good run in a team in the prem,
while DJ gives him time to hit some form when we've had him.

Either way, you've got a quality CCC striker there.

Playing on the shoulder of the last defender is working well for him down here in the championship, but perhaps up in the Prem the average defender is a bit quicker and a bit cannier than the average in the championship.

Yeah, glad to have him back from Sunderland,
he seem's to have got his personal life sorted now and seems really happy at Cardiff

Mostly to do with pace IMO people like Phillips and Chopra aren't quick enough to play in the Premiership!
