Agree with this wolfy, absolute madness. I posted in jan either back him or sack him, and we did neither. We decided to wait till the window closed and "starve" Harry out.
They knew HR would leave if they didn't sign anyone imo. So who's strategy was this? Can only look towards Les. Not saying we should've signed Defoe, but come on the Blackburn striker?
    Or another loan?

        • I'm not convinced 'any' manager could have turned things around with the squad we have.
Serious lack of goals throughout the squad will always leave you looking up from the bottom of the prem.
We are currently 3/4 quality players from a competitive prem side, but too late for that sadly.

              • WUM thread this is for me. Going on straight after defeat where ref is completely biased, and I assume like me most on here want to rip his head off, then questioning the manager, and creating an anti-CR biased poll. WUM you and V Wests. BTW sorry for the shut it comments, but I was a bit pissed and pissed off at the same time. Hope you get over it.

When I said no game plan I meant on the training ground Spurs found their man with correctness and accuracy on 90% of passing always aware of where their man was at all times were as our passing is still the same as under HR ball played short, ball intercepted ,or ball just freely given to the opposition , these are first thing top coaches and managers put right , if anybody thinks Spurs wasn't good value for their win they are kidding their selves ,
Rambo has get the awareness of his players right and that also means cutting out the individual errors from his players to convince me he is the man for the job and not just a pointless change of manager at the wrong time

                  • Would love to know what exactly was the point in bringing on Wright-Philips with just two minutes of injury time to go.

What are you on about? A game plan is a style of play. The players are having to learn quickly and it is clear that the aim for us is always the wing. When you play outside of the centre, you are never going to have a great accuracy of passing. There are so many people moving out there that it is very difficult. With that being said, how you blame ramsey for individual errors like the ones we saw yesterday is ridiculous. How is he gonna go and tell Rio to not act like a div when it is in his nature.

Do you post just for the sake of an argument or just happy to accept plss poor passing you talk of errors it's far from just Rio it's Caulker on a regular basis yesterday Green Onour was wayward .
Ramsey had a 2 weeks without a game to work on his players passing and their concentration followed last weeks training break , It's a job of a coach and management team to eradicate sloppy play ., I am far from being in the business being anti Ramsey , but Stevie Wonder could tell the word there has been no improvement in the teams play just a bit more huff and puff

                        • Nasser I really can't work you out. Your clearly passionate about QPR but some of the points you try making don't half on occasions make you look a bit clueless and there is an element of a hypocrite about you

You bang on and on about being positive which is fair enough and defend the club no matter what but in the next breath some of your descriptions of players are very very disresptful for someone who spends most his time tugging other fans for not supporting club or being negative

                          You remind me of Bon

                          • IMO we've been snakebitten all season. Losing games on late, extra time goals. Hitting more crossbars than another team with nothing to show for it. And, as we saw yesterday, major officials' decisions, game changers, not going our way. As frustrating as this is, and we all are, I believe our play HAS improved under CR. Not sure he's the long term guy yet, but he's a helluva lot more engaged than HR ever was at QPR, who thought just showing up was enough.

                            • We have three more points then we would have had under harry as no way would we have won away with him in charge

                              • The results have been frustrating but we have had three one goal home defeats against very good sides who frankly should be expecting to beat us. The problem against Arsenal and Spurs is that technically they are simply so much better. In both games I thought we looked impressive for quite long periods of the games and on the balance of play deserved something out of both. However both found their gear for a period of time, mainly second half in both games, when they were unplayable. That is the difference between a top side and a not top side.

What has been impressive about the performances has been we have been well set up, had a game plan and went looking for the win. The players seem more motivated and there looks a more positive vibe at the club, not just limited to CR being jolly in interviews.

I believe had we had CR at the club last season we would have had a better chance of automatic promotion. We were crying out for positivity, a game plan and to take the game to mainly inferior sides. If we go down he could be a good fit as we are supposedly looking at hungry players from lower leagues and his strength seems to be developing and getting the best out of players.

CR isn't perfect. I agree with some of the questioning of his substitutions and he has little experience at management in this country but he is a very well respected coach who appears happy to fit in with the new footballing setup at the club and players who have worked with him seem to have a lot of respect for him.

Jury's out overall but whilst disappointed at the results think performances have been better and if kept to those levels should get us results against poorer teams than Spurs, Arsenal and Southampton. Is it enough to keep us up even if it does? No idea.
