Im not going to get on Ramsey's back but it was a terrible decision to play Furlong against Arsenal. Sanchez must've been laughing when he saw our team sheet. It wasn't fair on Furlong, Isla should've started without a doubt. Happy to see Furlong given a chance but half of me feels Ramsey has stuck him in there just to tick a box and show that he likes to promote youth because he knows it will please fans and Fernandes alike.Comment

Ramsey fed that poor kid to the lions, everyone knows it including him. Best bet is to make up an injury to protect him. My mate Redcrapp was crap but didnt do harm to a promising young players progress by exposing him.Originally posted by Rangersw12 View PostComment

Two points, firstly he was playing against one of the top ten teams in the world the other night in only his second game and he didn't have Vargas in front of him helping him out that Isla has. In the second half I didn't see Phillips back doing too much.
A couple of times when Sanchez switched to his side he beat him but he can do that against anyone in the world. Without cover and having two players coming at him it's not easy. Can take either Isla or Furlong but the Isla/Vargas combination gives us the best defensive cover but Philips doesn't do it for me when we switch him to the left so you loose that.Comment

Fact is Isla is not fit enough to start a game, let alone play 90 minutes. Can't be having a go at Ramsey for that when Furlong is literally our only other option at RB.
Onouha wasn't fit enough to start at RB either, a role that requires a lot more energy than CBComment
