What is frustrating was we did not have a defensive midfielder for Sandro. Barton has put us into his trouble. Chris Ramsey now needs to try a tricky tactic without Sandro If he isn't fit for Spurs.

I like Ramsay, but I don't think he done himself any favours yesterday…

Darnell Furlong looked way out of his depths (You can't blame the kid, he's gone from playing at Harlington to having Alexis Sanchez running down on him), in hindsight I think Ramsay would have started Isla (Who would have played with Sanchez many times) or Onouha at RB.

Sandro looked good and I understand why he was taken off, but you've taken off a defensive combative midfield and replaced him with someone who doesn't run, track back or put in a challenge. I think Niko spent more time on the floor than he did on the ball. He was VERY poor.

I doubt you'll ever see a team in the premier league fighting for their safety have 3 Chilean internationals on the bench, how Vargas didn't come on instead of Isla is beyond me.

Philips might have done something on the right. Instead, again, he was shifted to the left. Had an assist there, sure, but the goal was entirely Austin. Isla was woeful. Every unforced sub Ramsey has made has been poor. His record of losing three winning one is as bad as Harry's. Our squad just isn't good enough. We will be lucky to stay up. We don't deserve to.

Think his subs last night questionable 1 enforced Onouha can understand why he brought on Isla, furlong getting exposed by sanchez a bit of protection but too late, as for Krancjar totally baffled, should've been Vargas or Zarate, we didnt have a lot of creativity and maybe thats why? but think we could've gone for someone a bit more hard working or just left Hoillet on he wasn't doing too bad helping out the defence

Our squad is paper thin even before the recent injuries/suspensions.... lord knows what the score is with Chileans but clearly there's something awry with their fitness/attitude/commitment or whatever. To me, Ramsey barely has any cards to shuffle so querying his substitutions/selections seems a bit much really.

Guys lets get some perspective. We lost to arsenal and from what I saw we gave a decent account of ourselves against a team that will finish top four. Imo we look a lot more dangerous and up for the fight now then we ever did under Harry!

As for furlong I'm glad he played and got a lesson from Sanchez will do hm the world of good and he won't come up against much better!!

My gripe is losing to Hull in the last minute that's the game that hurt us. We need to take points from Spurs and ensure a win against palace and we still have a pretty decent run in imo.

Let's judge Ramsey against the likes off palace and wba the games which will count!!

We are poor but we are lucky in that the prem has a 3 or 4 teams as poor as us this season. When Wigan went down couple of seasons ago they had 30 points after 30 games and still went down. We have teams around us as sh1t as us. Hope so anyway.....:-)

Dangerous? Two long range speculative shots- one goal out of the blue- was the sun of our attacking effort. Not one corner second half. Who on here realty thought- as opposed to hoped- we'd nick an equaliser after we'd pulled one back. We'd coukdvt score goals like Arsenal's in a month of Sundays. Think we're a poorer squad that the last time we went down. Our formation is embarrassing.

This, V, is the only glimmer of hope. I wouldn't play seven of those players who finished last night's game in the championship. We might fluke it. I pray we do. But that squad has to be totally recast from top to bottom. As I say there were only three players of premiership quality wearing the hoops last night.

Who else did you want him to bring on? Sandro wasn't fit enough to play the full 90

I don't agree. Ramsey saw Sandro & Hoilett had to come off & he did that

Kranjcar was a roll of the dice because of his free kicks & general set plays. I feel it was worth the risk, in hind site it didn't work & maybe Doughty (if he was on the bench) would of been a better option. But as Ramsey said the game in the PL is very fine details & if Kranjcar curled in a 90tj minute free kick we would of hailed his decision. I felt it was right on the night, it just didn't come off
                        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Kranjcar is totally useless, ok he maybe good at free kicks. But he try's to much flash stuff what never comes off gives the ball away so the other team can score. For me a no brainer to overweight leave him on the bench.

not sure i agree with that logic. goal difference may have a huge part to play at the end of the season. before this week kicked off, a lot of the teams on the fence were on the same points: Hull Villa QPR all on 22. Not being wary to avoid the 4-0 thumping is clever imo.

also if we would've gotten our 3rd 4-0 tonking of the season, this time at home, the media would've immediately smelled blood all week. and a lot of CR's goodwill with the fans wouldve withered away.

think losing the chief made us a lot weaker as in the first half he played on the right side of the 2 centre backs helping phillips to cover when furlong made a mistake once hill came on he swopped with caulker who went on that side and his cover and reading of the game wasn't as good as the chiefs and to compound this as phillips tired furlong kept getting caught one on one with sanchez to the point where a goal from that area seemed inevitable.on the other hand when koschelny came on it made arsenals back four a lot stronger.understand why he brought isla on to try to help shore that side up.as for niko god only knows what he did in the training camp as he had a pretty good game at hull but looked as if he had been put on a fair bit of weight last night.still think we look better when isla plays with vargas in front of him leaving Charlie up front on his own.although in a true 4-4-2 I would maybe give Zarate a go,how can we as a club have 3 internationals in our squad and not play any of them is baffling.
