A few did mate, but that's just opinions for you. Some come back to bite you in the bum and others are proven to be right. It's always good to be proven wrong in this type of circumstance. Aggy and Stew Peas did it to me for a little while, but they've since gone back to validating my thoughts on their lack of ability
    Your mum would love me...

Think I am in the same boat as you on this one fella. Watson is streets ahead of him. Look at out last few games. Most has gone through Watson which used to go through Rowlands. Not a shade of the player he was and righly so was taken off against Barnsley as he was at his best there either. IMHO he is doing ok at the minute, nothing special or great, just average. Faulin has shone more in the small amount of time he has been on a as a sub of late compared to the 50-70mins Rowlands has been getting. That's my opinion anyway.

Answer to this question is the team shouldn't be changed (which is exactly what JM has done). JM is a strong believer that you just done alter a winning side. Expect changes only to happen that are forced through injury or a server drop in form.

If Rowlie gets injured, Faurlin will come in so no chance of Buz getting back in the middle in the forseeable future.

As long as Buzsaky is not complaining and scoring goals, there is no need to make changes.

As for Rowlands, the partnership with Watson seems to be working just fine. Both can tackle, create scoring opportunities, and chip in with a few goals.

Faurlin needs time to fully adapt to the game in the English 2nd tier. In time, he could be a 1st team starter, but for now, I am happy enough for him to come on as a sub for the last quarter of the game (perhaps QPR should have done the same with Parejo and Ledesma last season).

Rowlands is back to his best, whilst he isn't the most technically gifted player in the world he gives 100% and does all the basics well. His partnership with Watson is superb as well. He get's all over the pitch makes tackles and it's no coincidence that we are a much better team with him in! He is Mr QPR really and it takes players like that to form a winning team you can't just have the technically gifted players.

He was also the guy stood out on the pitch for the longest after the game yesterday clapping the fans!

Buz is playing just as well out wide where tbh he has spent most of his QPR career, he isn't strong enough defensively to play in central midfield so I would stick with it as is.

Thankfully, our coaching staff think different.

Rowlands has been playing well, I always said he was a good player

                    *holds hands up*

However of the two, Watson is the better player by quite a distance.

Morris, have to disagree, Rowlands while 6 years older has a much better scoring record than Watson.

Martin 1 in 5 at QPR, Ben 1 in 9 at Palace, I'll never forget Rowly's goal against Wolves last season.

They seem to complement each other in our midfield, which appears to be one of the reason we're doing well at the present.

How they both doing this season goals wise?

Agree with your last 2 lines.

As others have said, I think it's the partnership between Rowlands and Watson that is working so well, really hope we can keep Rowlands fit, and make Watson's transfer permanent.

Your right, 2-0 to Watson at the moment, but early days for both.

Is it the case that they both work better together as a partnership, than say with Faurlin or whoever?

If Rowlands & Watson get 10+ each for us this season, we will be serious candidates for promotion.

Whoever is holding the purse strings at our club come January, we must sign Watson.
