Vine is a great player, but wont get enough goals. One proven striker with experience is what we need
So say all of us and if we keep on saying it - who knows ? It just worries me that as we are starting to turn the corner and putting in excellent performances, anything to do with transfers or loanees has been put on the back burner until Flaviogate is sorted. This bloke is a pain in the RRSSS,whether he's at LR in person or not.

We should have gone for Harewood.

As far as loans go, King may be a knob, but he's a very good striker at this level and should be available?! Krisztian Nemeth from Liverpool and Victor Anichebe from Everton would be great for now with a view to a perminant come Jan.

Gary Hooper, Jermaine Beckford, James Vaughan (if his loan at Derby is successful) are all strikers who I'd like to see us go for as a perminent signing as a top 3 striker for us.

Matty Fryatt, Simone Jackson and Andy Keogh are all capable of doing well in this league and although not amongst my 1st choices would most certainly improvement on the likes of Aggy and Pellicori. Simone Jackson would be great if we bought in one from the list above as he's young and would be a great choice to have on the bench.

I know it's not Football Manager on the PC, but surely it's not a big ask to bring in a couple of the mentioned strikers, is it?
      Your mum would love me...

i agree about Harewood. I think he would have been great - not sure why nobody seemed to want him

I can't see any movement of players until this whole Flavio mess is sorted out. I think by next thursday it should be resolved and lets hope we bring in a striker that we are crying out for. I think King would be ideal. I am not sure about names like Keogh, Vaughan, and Jackson. For me we need a big lump. Like they said on 5 live extra last night. How will we do away to sheffield united on a boggy cut up pitch in the very cold months? I think we need different options in the squad for these days. For me Pellicori isn't the answer and loaning out Helguson means we don't have that option. Harewood could of done that job but my choice now would be King.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I still say Rob Earnshaw, who still can't get a regular game for Forest... due to the fact they have about 15 strikers to choose from - including Tyson, McGoldrick, Adebola, Marco Van Blackstock etc...

Billy Davies always moaning about having a shortage of defenders... so a nice little loan swap for Fitz Hall.

            There, easy.

I agree. The likes of Jackson, Fryatt etc were mentioned as an extra striker. Someone who can hit the back of the net. We need the King/Harewood striker as well as one of them.

Great shout. I don't know why I keep forgetting about him. Not doing great a forest and like Blackstock, I think he needs a move to get himself back on track. Unfortunately, I think Madge is too big a lover of Fitz who in all fairness has played very well in his games this season.
