I'm gobsmacked that no one stands up for Henry! The first poster doesn't even have him on the frickin bench!!!
Green aside he's been our most consistent performer.
I vote for the same side that beat Sunderland, as it was a winning side, but replace the INJURED Fer with either Taarabt, Zarate or Vargas - whomever looks livliest in training!
If I had to vote for player of the season today I would go Henry
The reason why Ramsey is the better than Harry is he came in and made the hard call. He dropped Henry and moved Fer into the middle as he's the better player.
You could argue he should of dropped Barton but he made the call that Harry didn't have the balls to. He's done the se with Vargas. Vargas been one of our better players but the balance was off and he's gone with playing a naturally right winger rather than a striker.
Bring Taraabt in for fer imo and start Charlie of he's fit...

Er. He did no such thing, pal....... Kelvin started and played against Sunderland. He wasn't dropped. He played next to Barton in 4231. Fer wasn't moved into the middle. He played in the three behind Zamora. Charlie not being available enabled us to play the formation which helped us win the game. Regarding balls, let's see if Chris has sufficient to leave Charlie on the bench at Hull and enable us to play the same winning team with Adel in the same position as Fer.
I myself feel we have to play Austin Saturday. Away from home he has been feeding on scrapes so if were going to have a go away from home you want Austin in the box finishing them off as we know if he is given a chance he takes it.
If Austin is fit he starts especially under new regime

Same with you, think Henry has been one of the best players this year and no way our weakest link. I would pick him over Joey on performance throughout the year, he also worked well with Sandro during that good spell we had.

Has been feeding off scraps because we have to play 442 with him in the team. That means we sit much deeper because the middle four we've been playing have no pace or ability to use the flanks; the ball doesn't stick up front; neither Kelvin or Barton can play off the front two or go in front of them, but only play the ball square or back should they get it back from Charlie; we get murdered in midfield when everyone plays five players and we play four slow ones.... That might change in terms of attacking play if its Adel on the left and Phillips on the right, but we'd still get murdered in midfield when we didn't have the ball.... Can't abandon 4231 away from home (home is different....) and, for me, that requires Bob to start and Charlie to be on the bench. From where he can still play a part. Let's not change a winning formula.
I know what your getting at but I think its unfair to blame Charlies place in team away from home as the cause of out problems. For me the problem was the way they were sent out not any individual player. Harry sent them out not to attack but to hold what they had and it was a disastrous tactic and not Charlie's fault.
He played up top most of last season on his own and we and he done well enough. Yes this is another level but if Phillips keeps crossing bombs into the box as he has done last few games who do you want in the six yard box trying to get on the end of them Austin or Bobby who his goal at Sunderland aside has not looked like scoring

Difference of opinion, West. But so long as we play 4231 we have a great chance at Hull. Shift back to 442 or even, as per Harry, 451 and we will be f acked.
So why not play Austin as the one instead of Bobby
Agree with you 100% about formation it worked so no way should we look at anything else we keep it but for me Austin improves that formation. If we have one chance at Hull I would rather it was falling to a cold blooded goal scorer then Bobby who has missed a number of sitters this season although he brings other aspects to the plate
Honestly don't mind starting charlie away from home. I think we are creating more chances now away, especially from crosses and without Fer, we lack an aerial presence. Austin is a huge presence in the air and can get goals from crosses.

Plus, Hull will go in expecting zamora and who more than charlie would love to one up the KC stadium after the failed medical. He will be up for it IF HE IS FIT.
