Good point there as well. Also, I think I have seen alot of people here interested in Gary Neville, who has only got experience as an england coach. Personally feel coaches are the way forward.

Steven Caulker’s praise for Chris Ramsey – the man who discovered him

Caulker told www.qpr.co.uk: “Chris has been brilliant, absolutely brilliant.

“He signed me at under-15 level for Tottenham. He took me from Sunday league football to where I am now so I will always have high praise for him.

“He has come in, been organised, got the group together, got us all believing in ourselves and has got us playing a certain way. Fair play to him, he helped us pull off that away win.”

Victory at Sunderland brought QPR’s dismal away run of 12 consecutive defeats in all competitions to an end, and Caulker, 23, admitted: “Right from the warm-up, we were all at it."

Ramsey was a popular figure at Spurs, having worked with the academy and the first team, with Ledley King one of the many senior players who enjoyed his approach to both the game and youth development – something the QPR squad seem to have bought into already.

"He is one of the best coaches around." King told the London Evening Standard in 2012. "The youngsters love the way he works and they have really bought into his methods.

"If you look at what he's done, he's brought fresh ideas and they have filtered through. Chris has changed a lot at Tottenham, in terms of the academy and the improvement of players."

Been a fair few players coming out with praise for Ramsay since he's taken over. I know a lot of it may seem PR but if you look at what the players are actually saying it does very much seem like the previous management was a mess with poor training and preparation for games

Jordan and Bond took most of the training sessions. HR would just stand and watch on the side.

These damning indictments keep trickling out...

Yeah this impressed me this morning as well... Stark contrast to Redknapp, who would of already been blaming the coming weekend on injuries and not having enough players by now
