  • With respect Richard ,ive not once stated that i DO know how the loans are structured ,any more than you do .Loans have a habit of needing to be paid though ,dont they ? And ,any fine that is imposed on us WILL be down to TF and the shareholders ,who have sanctioned the club spending far beyond our means .
I sincerely hope any debt is written off ,i`m just concerned that it won`t be ,these are businessmen after all .
As for the ground ,weve gone round in circles for the last few years on this ,you come out with the same tired arguments ( and so do I ! ) ,But i love Loftus Rd,Shepherds Bush ,all our pubs ,Cookes pie n mash etc and am happy to stay ,i`ll put up with a cramped seat for 90 mins to not sell it all off ,and try to become something were not.

I reckon they will take the hit if necessary, don't you? They'll never be able to sell the club with that amount of debt, so they either stay and make the whole project work, or they write off their loans and sell up. Either way, it won't have any effect on us.

As for being overjoyed if the OOC project is called off, it will stifle any chance we have of developing our infrastructure and growing the club, something which you seem mightily pleased about. What kind of future do you think we'll have at LR and playing in the champs, with no other sources of income? Look around London and notice West Ham, Brentford and Spurs are moving, Chelsea would like a new stadium, joining Arsenal and Millwall with new grounds, while we languish at LR, a ground that has cut capacity by almost 50% in 40 years, with currently 13% restricted views.

      Attractive proposition eh?
Well said - all the "flat eathers" really #### me off. Yes I love Loftus Road I've been going there for the past 40 years but it simply isn't fit for purpose in the modern football age. We need to move to generate the sort of cash needed to sustain Prem/Championships side so that we are still around for our children and grandchildren to enjoy the same ride we have

I said that in hindsight, he made mistakes of course, not many have come here and evaded them. But he always had the best intentions of the club.
I read it mate it just didnt make any sense. An excellent appointment at the time? I disagree . He was brought on board for one reason and that was like you say his experience with projects such as the O2. When he was brought on board our new stadium (if we get one) was a decade away. They must have known he had no experience in the day to day running of a football club, no experience dealing with football agents or players. His appointment was destined to fail from day one. He accomplished nothing. Bit like TF, nice bloke very courteous but clueless when it comes to running a football club. Tried, failed, moved on and one more to go.

Could not put it better if I tried, loooool, these guys only care about themselves, the club will die if it stays the same, not today or tomorrow but 50 odd years down the line, when these dinosaurs are long gone, we will be a non league club. Times are a changing, we either change with them or .......
          Kept the faith!

So do I, but many of the pubs are closing/have closed. Cookes is also closing. Things change, nothing stays the same

I'm pretty sure the life ban is in place for him still. People shpuld check their facts and history...what is this site? Full of premier league glory hunting kidddies with no knowledge of our recent history???
Think you need to be rather careful about making comments like that. Not least of all that period was when Paladini, Trucco and Caliendo were doing some fearsome sending out of disinformation when they were seizing control of the club.

I think only those that were directly involved know what really was going on and even then there view will be skewed to their perspective.

And that is why we will never know the truth of it. Albeit I think I know who I would give greater credence to.

If the choice is what pubs we have ,or the bar of a purpose built Nandos or Frankie and Bennys built into the complex of a new ground ,i`d prefer the Adelaide ,Conny ,White Horse ,Crown n Sceptre etc
I respect the fact the majority of people are up the move , and the facilities at a new ground would undoubtably be better than LR ,but its more than that imho

And all the " head in sand "trust Uncle Tony " and everything will be fine ,really #### me off too .Will the club be around though ,with the fine from FFP and the possibility of a massive debt hanging over us ,if we do go down and TF dosnt get the new ground and decides to walk ?
The answer to that is ,we just don`t know . What we do know is the future of the club is being gambled with.
