No need to be like that about it.. I just think it could be handled slightly better and is a tad odd with Joey's tweet as well.
Why should we comment? The club always says to wait for official confirmation. I don't see how it makes the club look silly. Ian Taylor and co are hardly sitting round just not bothering to post. Its only QPR fans that even mention/care about this sort of stuff.

Gotta keep up with all the other media outlets no matter what.

Why exactly is it embarrassing anyway? Does it play on your mind? Do you walk around thinking "hope no one realises I'm a QPR fan what with the fiasco of the official website not announcing Ramsey yet, better not even go into work today."
      This, bang on!

Kev, all I recall is that Dave Mac was the first to tweet about it being official and publish it in West London Sport.

The only thing that was embarrassing tf's tweet about getting his dream manager.

Anyone in his position and his experience in business should know better.

I love tf think he's great for us I just think he shot himself in the foot for no real reason with that tweet. Subsequently we have been ridiculed by a lot of media outlets.

Ridiculed? Any links mate, I've not seen any of that kind of stuff.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Ive said why I think we should comment.
Ive also said WHY I think it makes us look silly in my opinion.

I understand your view but I think something should of been said by the club.

Brian's right though West, it doesn't seem "embarrassing as a club". The club and CR just want to get things right. We're not in a rush anyway because we haven't got a game this weekend, and things on the training ground will carry on as usual.

The club will make an announcement in its own good time. I'm not fretting, and may I suggest, you shouldn't either.

Media makes up stories all the time, most of them rubbish.
Most clubs don't make announcement about every story.
Here we are, fans of QPR, blaming OUR club, I find it odd.

I just posted Dave Mac's tweet above which IMO is a plausible and reasonable explanation, and what I had posted yesterday.

On the subject of bitter and embarrassing, kevin gallens a little bit bitter over the club i think, i see him come out in the press today saying uncle was embarrassing the club tweeting about the dream manager. Whereas in contrast Bircham came out and praised the club on appointing Ramsey until season end.

All Tony said is that he thinks he's got his dream manager, not that he's got him. It was basically to let fans know that they are working very hard and not to worry us fans.

Media always have stories, the club is right to remain silence until it's official.
