And Clunge, I'm sure your comment was tongue-in-cheek as you seem an intelectual person (This is not meant to sound condercending at all) so I'm sure you don't believe any fan has any influence on the in's and out's where club appointments are concerned. Blimey...Flav doesn't even listen to advice from professionals, let alone a fan.

It is pertinent as it explains why we had 4 managers in 14 months.
And why we can't get a seriously decent manager, despite the money
Flavio has. No one would come near this club, having said that I wish Magilton all the best, but I would put 5 pound on him not lasting the season.

Anyway when Flavio took over the reigns we won 3-2

        well, let's agree to disagree.
I am sure everyone would love to see attractive football
and get relegated like Mowbray's West Brom. Yeah, that's what we want.

Or promoted like Mowbray's West Brom, cos I'd take that right away.

So not the vast majority of fans who keep crying out for players like Buzz and Vine to get back to form? The same fans who love Routledge for the way he skins his opponent? Maybe not the fans who would rather have a tidy player like Ben Watson in the side instead of Gavin Mahon? Not them either...how about wanting Jay Simpson to lead the line instead of Pellicori?

Of course, we all want to win games but we also want us to do it in style. It's a fact of life. If you find it value for money sitting watching dire football every week as long as we win, then that's fine, but most of us would like to be entertained. We were awefully boring under Sousa at times and were no better at the start of this season. I've never been so downbeat after games than watching some of the crap we've played. Please don't take this as a dig at Sousa as this is not how it was intended, but I'm just making a point that many fans including myself want to enjoy football and winning 1-0 by playing poorly is not my idea of fun. Granted, it'll get us where we want to be but I'd be far less inclined to attend week in, week out if we played this dull football.

Wow...there's a name you love to hate.
                    What a tool he is.

Could be worse though...we could have Roy Keane!!!!

Dont think any fan got him the sack .. but there were some strange goings on, on this board... and to the synical amongst us it could have looked orchestrated to meet someone higher ups requirements.. being intelectual I am sure that could seem reasonable also? dont think anyone will ever convince me that didnt happen having read most of the posts at that time

But I think he did a good job and could see promise in what he was attempting unfortunately some didnt appreciate and it cost us ... even if it was only points early on this season but we have now moved on ... . I also hope we stuff his team on Sat

f uck Paulo sousa we are beating newcastle 1-0!!!!!!!!!!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
