It is bad news, but thank god it's not ACL and he's out for 10 months or so.
Also he's got 2 weeks off now before our next game and he should be back by the West Brom game on April 4th, meaning he's missing only 5 games.
I know 5 games is massive in our position, but it could've been a lot worse.

Terrible news…
Hopefully others will plug the gap but I'm not sure they'll be able to. A lot of Fer's effectiveness for us came through his athleticism and presence imo, something Zarate and Taarabt etc. simply don't have. His range of passing is also very good and he usually gives his team-mates an option to pass to. Hopefully Sandro can get a few games in while he's out...
We've been crying out for a midfield engine since Warnock was here, Diakite looked like he was the man for a while before it went sour but Fer looked to have sorted it and made that role his.

Terrible news. Dodgy injury and will not be rushed, be surprised to see him back before Liverpool at the start of May.
Get him fit to rip Newcastle and Leicester apart and take maximum points from our last two games to keep us up as the Geordies will already be on holiday and Leicester already relegated, in a perfect world!

Depressed over this news. He was just starting to show us what a good player he is and was a massive goal threat to the opposition coming from midfield. Everything is conspiring against us this season.
We still have good players with plenty of ability that now need to deliver .....Adel, Philips, Hoilet and Zarate.
