So because he's chairman and I can't change it, I'm not allowed to voice my opinion and I have to back him no matter what? If you don't like your hero being criticised, I doubt a forum is the right place for you.

I can't wait for him to stop tweeting to be honest, I can't remember any of them being of any benefit to anyone unless you know otherwise?
That is where i find it odd. Does it really bother you that much? Fair enough you don't like or agree with the tweeting but it will hardly be life changing for you surely if it stops?

I bet the guy who was given a plane ticket to anywhere in the world is glad Fernades loves a tweet.

Oh me oh my, how on earth do people know what discussions TF had with the staff before the tweet? It is possible he did not speak to Ramsey and Co. but highly unlikely. Is TF a God? No. Is he a world class businessman? Possibly. Is he a man who wants the best for his and others investment? Definitely. The man acts like a loon according to some, but I'm happy enough to believe he knows what he is up to...most of the time!

Just another stick to beat him with. Not sure why it would upset some this much but hey each to their moan....sorry-own.

I got a great idea for you.... don't look at twitter!! then it wont annoy you!! But maybe that's far too a sensible option for yourself.
Its pretty sad it annoys you to be honest.. there's plenty of other things to get annoyed about in the world.

Nope but when the majority of what he posts has no significance then what's the point? He just loves the limelight.

Ah right so because he give away a freebie everyone should be happy? No coincidence that this happened after he accused a fan of being unloyal?

In addition.. Tony, gave one of my family members the day of their life for their birthday when he let them go and meet him on a match day in the hospitality box... And guess where that opportunity came from.... Twitter. He responded to one of my tweets.. so without Tony on Twitter an elderly member of my family would never of got that opportunity.

You sound like V Block. You have a very personal vendetta against the man for some reason and all of a sudden.

I also find you quite rude and confrontational.

Great to hear about TF doing that for your family member, but that could still happen regardless of him not tweeting important matters relating to the club could it not? He can tweet what he likes as you've said previously but the whole point of this thread was when and what he tweeted yesterday. What did he want to achieve?

Got no vendetta against him, want him to succeed big time as he's chairman of the club I love but that doesn't mean I won't criticise him when I think he's made a mistake and I think yesterday was silly.

I don't know what he wanted to achieve from it and I don't particularly care in general. The tweet made me excited for future personally. I think its great we have an open chairman.
Just not sure what the benefit is of criticizing him over this. We could have a lot worser chairman and it just sounds like moaning for the sake of having something to moan about.

I bought a pack of wine gums earlier and didn't get a single red one. While i was naturally livid/fuming and ready to riot, i suspect most people on reading this will give my lack of red wine gum as much significance as to what Tony Fernandes tweets.

That's the point, I'd love to know why he tweeted it at that time, because I don't see how it could have benefitted anyone. It stinks of putting the boot into Sherwood in my opinion which if true is ridiculously childish. Sherwood withdrew due to a lack of ideas if the club gets relegated according to the paper he's a columnist for, so could it have been a reaction to knowing that story was about to break? I don't know.

I just hope he thinks with a clear head before tweeting important club news in the future or when debating with fans, which he hasn't done lately in my opinion.

That's a disgrace Sammy. Don't miss the opportunity, start a riot before it's too late!
