Great news and a shot in the arm

I'm sure rivals were pumped thinking he was out for the season is this our first break of the season and a change of luck

Brilliant news, love the idea of him, taarabt, zarate, vargas all tearing up opposition boxes

Great news - just need to build a team around Austen that will get the best out of him!!

Like to see Austen & Vargas play together as a two. With Philips and Hoillet providing width

Am pleased for Charlie that he's not injured, but I can't help but think his inability to link up play, his total lack of pace are part of our problem, not a solution..... I recognize I'm in a small minority on here, mind. And I'd like to be wrong.

Nasser we won't be tearing anything apart with our squad. Ugly one nil wins will do me for now

Hmmmm. I love the idea of making love with Gemma Arterton, but that too isn't going to happen.....

I think it will nice to see us try something different upfront. Can't doubt his goal scoring, or the effort he often puts in when we don't have the ball, but he's just not an outlet for us. We sometimes play too many silly passes in midfield because there is often no route forward. Tarrabt linked up play well at times yesterday and love him, or hate him, we do need him to play that role for us. Stick 2 nippy little forwards infront of him and those little slide rule passes could come to fruition.
Personally, I'd be knocking width on the head on Tues. Play a compact diamond with Adel at the head and Vargas and Zarate upfront. Both will work the channels for you. Will be like McAveny and Cottee, who I remember ripping us apart at the Bowlyn in their first game together.

Points and wins often come at the strangest and seemingly impossible times...think back to May!

Personally don't think that's more important than our top scorer tbh - would play Ned and Caulker CBs even if Dunne was fit.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I'm not sure I really agree what I saw of Zarate and Vargas they looked far more mobile and have better pace , but more to the point I think Caulker is a liability that is always just a very basic fukc up away , We're on a point in deep added time hoof the ball as far away from your goal as you can no he carries the ball in his own half and deliver a short pass goodnight a point , and it's not just a one off
