I think some of you actually WANT us to go down so you can gleefully boast, "oh yer, well I knew months ago we were going down". When it's MATHEMATICALLY impossible for us to stay up, THEN you can say we're down, but until then, stop moaning.

Why don't you man up, stop acting like Mary Annes, and start SUPPORTING the team. We did it before, we'll do it again IMO.

    Bloody surrender monkeys.
In fairness I get what Kevs sentiment is Rich as I walked out of turf moor deflated knowing that we were unable to even get a point against one of the few sides that were below us.

I don't want us to go down I will be distraught IF we do but I can see what is before us. Home wins have dried up, cant buy a point away from home the only person that gets us points could be out for an extended period so I don't get where the optimism comes from.

Is the table tight yes it is but where are the wins going to come from to keep it tight as I can seriously see us from this point forth falling further and further behind the pack as week by week goes by. Swansea scoring with last kick of the game was a massive kick in the cohonas, Burnley followed that up and yesterday another late defeat is the straw that broke the camels back the players looked wiped out on the pitch at the end yesterday and I get why as they must feel like us we just do not get a break

The optimism and league placing going into December/January was based on our home record and our home record alone however that record has been ripped apart we have now lost three home games on the trot with the next two visitors Arsenal and Spurs yes anything could happen in any given game but suspect three home defeats on the bounce will be five with away defeats inbetween and therefore cut adrift. Were now relying on three other sides being as dire as we have become its a sad state of affairs

I still hope but if honest I no longer believe

We would look reasonably comfortable instead of in brewn street
Mistake by Caulker at Burnley cost us another point. Those points all mount up and would have given us a nice cushion for runs like were on and from being the side that should have been hunted by those below we are now the hunter but we have no teeth to be a formidable predator and therefore no threat

Anyone remember that glorious day last May at Wembley when, against all odds Bobby scored right at the end? How about the last game of the season at the Etihad when we managed to avoid relegation? What about the Liverpool game? Were any of you at the Palace game when we won 6-0?

Keep the faith. We can do this if we act as the 12th man instead of meekly chucking in the towel. Negativity will find its way from the stands to the players.

Rallying cries are good Rich but please tell me where are the six wins needed going to come from??? based on what we have to come at home and fact we lose week in week out away

As I've said elsewhere, if I could predict football results I'd be in the bookies every Saturday.

Fortunately, West Brom, Hull, Leicester, Burnley, and Villa are having a bad time too, and we're in the mix with then.

Welcome to the forum, I had to remove and edit your very first post.

I'm just making it clear that if you post like that again, we'll ban you.

                We're giving you a chance.

Spot on Rich for me Villa, Foxes and Hull Bang in it too. Baggies by no means out of it but think them and Burnley will keep themselves out of trouble

Are there three worse sides hmmmm not sure would say possibly one maybe two but think we may be the third side

So true. Absolutely agree. We need to show the players we haven't given up and hopefully it will permeate to the team. It is still in our hands.

As much as we all moan I guess the majority of our fans are true fans,
Reckon most of any glory hunters we had have fallen away over the last few years.

So as much as we might gripe I reckon we will still turn up home and away just as we have done all year.
Rangers have glory hunters !!! Please show me one next time you see one ? The season turned at burnley away that was the point for me prob HR should have gone before. It seems that we just dont have the quality of players needed yet I still think on their day we can beat most.We were lucky to come up and we seem to have a streak of bad luck since then lost of last min goals etc hope I am wrong but I dont think that hull and sunderland are worried ?

Excellently put and sums it up for me... This Richard character can bang the drum and remain positive but I suspect deep down he knows what most of the rest of us already know and that is we will be playing Championship football....

Richard, all this man up rubbish, maybe you should've directed that at the players and that dreadful charlatan Redknapp who has effectively relegated us (although he will no doubt try and say that he left us in a position whereby we could've stayed up... Yeah right!!!).... I will take absolutely no pleasure in the fact that I knew we were gonners after the Swansea and Burnley games and will be as pig sick as any other fan but I will not embarrass myself with false hope and mathematical equations if am honest....

How the #### do I know we'll be playing champs football next season? This one hasn't even finished yet!!

We will have to agree to disagree. You say we're down, I say we're still in the mix. And for the record, I didn't want Redknapp here in the first place.

Rich you keep saying were in the mix and ufbyou base that solely on how table looks now we are but I ask again where are the six wins going to come from to give us a chance????

I see Burnley are winning as I write

The surrender monkeys were out on the pitch yesterday. Im just being realistic cos its rangers and that team is nowhere near good enough. Going to be a gutter but ive started preparing myself for the event in a month or so.
