think some a little ill informed bout the saints....can pull out a bigger set than us for certain games and we have been put on the backfoot down there more than once...bank holiday monday game ,our first season back up in 83, there were hi jinks all over the gaff and inside the ground...one of our even get slashed across the dividing fence by a saints lad....outside after proper toe to toe for a good five minutes before plod regained control....halcyon days of fv yes but from my memories saints no fulham!

Because Rangers got in touch with Palace and cancelled the tickets of anyone in the Lower School End who was on the Palace database.

Was walking back to station after we beat them a few years ago and a pub en route emptied and decided to throw their glasses at us!!

They can get a few but not very often, back in the 80's / early 90's they were more of a force but these days it's more of a spotty youth that try it on but they are on there toes most of the time. The older lads that used to control them are all mid 50's now and have seen better days, I know a few of them and they tried to make a comeback about 5 years ago but couldn't get the numbers. They will come out for Pompey and have history with Charlton

You've obviously not been to any of their recent derby games:

Good post mate,I remember many a good day against you lot,I think in terms of lads we are similar, not got the most but can hold our own. Ive always said being a lad with QPR, Saints or clubs like that takes more bottle than being a Chelsea or Leeds lad ,its easy to be brave when theres hundreds of you.For the ones saying we have never done Portsmouth, look up ,The Joiners, Poznan station, Covent Garden, just to mention a few. Anyway hope you lot stay up now you have got rid of that satchel faced twitchy ####,good luck apart from today.

Davesaints. Best wishes for the season. Your club is in great shape. Done everything the opposite to us and look where you are. Good club with good people. Hope you lose today though!!!!

The year we done em and Bothroyd scored they had a little group of spotty kids in fake Aquascutum scarves try it on with a load of Rangers walking from the ground to the pub - just a load of hangbags really before another little lot got run back up the road by 5 Rs

Bitd they always had a pop at us at the old dell and it was pretty much even stevens-had some good away days there even tho i hated that away end. Funny enough they never seemed to travel to us with the same intent. Them and spurs used to have some right ol ding dongs back in the 80's/90's by all acounts.

Totally agree facto!! In my immature youth we took too many liberties down there and paid the price! One time a little group of us and them had a little greet by the foot bridge near the station and in 85 ish we went in their end and got split up and spanked

Always a good away day, did you lot have a lad called Mcgr____ little bloke,I remember after beating Spurs at WHL in the cup in the early nineties, it was going off all the way up the Seven Sisters rd, though got to say they had the best of it, hundreds of em!

Fair play mate. A y id i knew said they often had grief at the dell and used to have to take quite big numbers. Tbf not many teams had results down the seven sisters-especially after night games-horrible walk back up.

I remember that, when you came in our bit,was that the league cup tie? It was great back then eighteen years old, invincible and didn't give a toss and if you got a smack it was generally only a bit of bruising or a bloody nose, wouldn't swap those days for anything. A mate of mine went up to yours with Portsmouth in the eighties and went in your end with em but he said they got done and chased out, he is a Saints fan so wasn't that bothered
