With no money or transfer windows we can solely judge him on his coaching abilities. If we go down but we like what we see we can still negotiate, if he keeps us up then he probably deserves a go.

So you know that for sure? How?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

The previous managers and coaches achieved arelegation and one promotion. Not counting NW.

I don't, just my take on it. His name has been lurking in the shadows since the summer and since LF came on board for me it was nailed on. If HR had of signed a new deal i'd imagine TS would of gone to BHA/Norwich or whoever.
I don'y buy this big time charlie bowlocks that he wouldn't drop a division i reckon he has been tapped up early doors.

Not my managers. I didn't want Hughes or Redknapp.

I agree with you and my take on it too Burn. Just all fits together too neatly.

But you keep banging on about experience Richard?!

You've just proven what I've been saying for the last week. Means nish! They've failed. Miserably.

TF and his other two candidates is just TF trying not to come across as a snake who goes behind his managers back. Why not come out and say TS was due to take over in the summer when HR contract expires but obviously that situ has changed and he is our man.

I'd be amazed if Teflon Tone even knew who Clement was 1 week ago.

So you would employ a bloke with 5 months experience over someone with 5 years experience, someone with some kind of track record over a reasonable period of time?

That's like saying you'd employ a kid just out of university and giving him a senior job in a multi-million pound corporation where he used to be the Saturday boy!

Not about experience and not about hunger. Some managers just click with clubs. Have a look and see the ones that have with different clubs throughout the history of the Premier League. We are yet to appoint the manger that just fits. That clicks with the set up and players at his disposal. That strengthens and builds. That succeeds and triumphs. Levy at Spurs have been looking for one for years and Liverpool are hoping Rogers is one. If we could only find that one that just clicks....

Its hard to find the right fit when your club is built on PR bullshiz. Why do we keep getting the wrong managers? Why do Southampton keep getting the right ones?
