        Can't wait for your replies.

        Genuinely.
He's a novice, and a novice isn't what is needed right now. He's untested, apart from 5 months at Spurs. Too much of a risk.

Levy got rid for a reason, and how many clubs have been knocking at his door for his services? Why has he spent more time unemployed as a football club manager than an employed one? Perhaps the football world at boardroom level know more than us. The fact he's been out of work so long is an indication of how good he is.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Can you see my point though V?

Experience really does count for shite in the grand scheme of things.

The reason he has been unemployed is because he has been given assurances that the job here is his.

Yer i can mate but i for me i think the next appointment is extremely important and shouldnt be rushed. If it is Sherwood then just give him till end of season and see who we can entice or is free at that time. Club needs sorting from the very top to bottom. Foundations need to be laid and i just dont see Sherwood as the man to lay them. Keep us up and maybe i feel different.

                  Fair enough v. Good points.

Put it this way, I'm absolutely exasperated with 'big name' managers ripping the #### out of us for millions in wages every year and not delivering a bean. I honestly don't think it matters giving this guy a chance. He can do no worse than the last two wallys!

I agree, except to reverse that statement: The club needs sorting from the very bottom to top.

We may only give him til the end of season with the lure of a long term deal if we stay up.

Has anybody considered the fact that he might decide he doesn't want to come?

Agree Jimmy, but I'd offer it to him until the end of the season, then review his position pending his results and performances.

That would make sense and if we stay up there should be no definites as there may be somewhere more long term available.
