Thing is we've had no plan or tactics now apart from the long ball to zamora. rest of the time we just play players out of position and hope the 11 on the pitch win us games. That is what we've had this season under redknapp. Not to mention his lies and excuses.

Sherwood will bring honesty which is something I think a lot of QPR fans want. Tactically well we'll see what happens but we're not going to win more than we lose so its a case of knowing our limits I suppose and seeing what he can do differently to harry.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
    Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Reading the op gives me even more worries about his pending arrival. Imo its tf's last chance saloon regarding getting the right manager in and he needs to give this more thought.

Truth is - who ever we bring in now, is going to have a massive job keeping us up.
I'm a non believer when it comes to this win % stat. It's a lot easier to have a higher % if taking over a top 6 team than a bottom 6 team like ours.

On the other hand; Sir Les Ferdinand backed Sherwood for tellng the players a few hometruths. Could be the Spurs stars deserved it. Just a thought.

I've become increasingly undecided in regards to Sherwood, I like the idea of him but the more Spurs fans I speak with the more the doubt creeps in. From what I've been told about him he seems like an attacking version of Paul Hart and I'm not keen on that sort of ineptitude again.

Just like players some clubs fit some dont , you cant judge Sherwood as a manager/coach until he has been given a real go. I stint at Spurs is not enough to judge his attributes , like new players he will need time to settle in and stamp his ideas on the club. I know he was held in real high regard at Spurs as a coach and worked very well with the youth. You can look at a lot of coaches who have struggled at certain clubs, would anyone want Steve McLaren here when he was in charge at Forest? Eddie Howe at Burnley?

You can say what you like about Redknapp but one thing he did (and it was by no means easy) was to get the dressing room right. He shifted many of the worst shirkers and parasites snd sidelined those he couldn't uproot.
So one of my concerns about Sherwood is what impact he will have on our merrie bunch of men. He already has history with Sandro and there is potential for plenty of sparks with the likes of Barton. Manysy feel that that is exactly what needs to happen to give them an electric shock. I would not like to have a divided dressing room again.

You can say any manager will get us relegated... They at least need a chance first.

The right thing to do was for HR to leave and we have at least done that.

Every Spurs fan I ever spoke to at the time told me how lucky we were to get Redknapp.

                    Opinions.

Spot on Jimmy... We raved about getting HR and thought we were so lucky to have him... And look how it turned out. 3 years down the road the bloke still didn't know his best team or how he wanted to play.

The play-offs were fvck all to do with him IMO.. It was all down to the players and the media team creating the togetherness.

Me neither, but am not so sure if it really matters: If we stay up, he can shift the sulkers and keep the contributors. If we go down, we will need to replace most of the team anyway, and possibly also Sherwood.

Whoever takes this job has got a tough job on their hands. We need someone who is honest, who can motivate players and simply play them in their correct positions. Not sure if Sherwood ticks all of these boxes. he wouldnt be my first choice, but wouldnt be too unhappy either. If we play people in their correct positions, and use some pace and positivity rather than sitting back and having no pace in the side, then we may have a chance whoever is boss. Personally id like Mclaren as he was excellent for us, and same for Derby. But I dont see any reason why he would leave a Derby side who are most likely going to replace us in the premiership - although he hasnt publically denied the link as far as im aware?

                              Some more interesting stuff here.

QPR fan in peace. Following Harrys departure Sherwood is favourite to become our next manager. I was wondering if you could tell me how he did for you?...

I think whether it is last chance saloon for TF will surely be down to him as owner wont it bush?
