if tim sherwood becomes manager we may as well throw the club away
So those who would like Sherwood as the next manager. Do you honestly and sincerely believe he is the right man to lead QPR for the next 2-3 years and beyond? Do you REALLY think this man will turn us into a successful club?
I'm not at all convinced.

Same could have been said for Garry Monk at Swansea, both fairly similar age, hungry ex-players with a lot to prove.
Could go t1ts up but much rather try with someone like this than some old has been with no interest other than lining their pockets.
Sherwood has got a lot to lose so I would not doubt his desire, it's just whether he has got the other attributes required to make it.
I personally think he will be great for the club...what ever people say he done fantastic at Spurs and bled in new talent very well. As has been mentioned he's the one who gave Kane the stage to perform when others wanted him to go on loan.
He will have the passion, desire and balls to make the big calls. We could all see it with Harry his light had burnt out, the sa,e mistakes by the same players every game and he didn't change a thing. As CAT said if he just shows the tiniest bit of tactical nous he's onto a winner.
Play players in the right position and drop the likes of Barton. Importantly he works well with Ferdinand amd ra,set and they all have a vision for the club that should of been installed when tf turned up.

If he did "fantastic" at Spurs as you claim, why did he get the bullet?
If he's that good, why has he been out of work for so long? Surely other clubs would have taken him?
And how do you explain the fact that his Spurs record was worse than his predecessor, AVB?

Manager was sacked on Tuesday and leaves White Hart Lane with the best win ration of any Spurs boss in the league since the beginning of the Premier League
Have a look at this and sherwood was officially more successor in the premier league than avb. Avb messed up massively and spunked all the bale money on utter dog. Sherwood came in a cleared up the mess and used their young players to do it.
The bloke showed balls and Spurs ended up having a pretty decent season using their kids. He got sacked from Spurs as he was deemed to low key for them and in all fairness they are a pretty big club.
Footballs all about opinions so respect yours but I have to say the bloke deserves a shot considering this record. He hasn't done anything to suggest he,s a bad manager in fact quite the opposite. His win percentage during his time at Spurs is bloody impressive.
What's not to like about a bloke who's Young hungry and full of passion and desire. Wants to blend I youth and do things the modern way. We need forward thinking people at qpr now. sherwood is more than capable imo.
I see. So they sack a bloke who apparently did "fantastic" for Spurs, and employ Southampton's manager who previously managed Espanyol, one of the "giants" of Europe.
Yeah, right ...

According to wiki his win ratio was 50%.

This really is a silly thread. When we brought in Redknapp it was on the basis that experience would save us. And down we went.
I must admit that I don't know much about Tim Sherwood, other than the stats from his time in charge of Spurs, but on the face of it he seems like a good fit for us: a young manager who is coming to us to further his career; not some "big name" who is coming to fleece TF and the Board because they think they will be paid far over the odds.
So far as I can tell, Tim Sherwood would have every chance of saving us from relegation - certainly a better chance than the hopeless Redknapp.

how can you guys go for inexperience when weve just lounged in the lower division with inexperienced managers screwing up
WARNOCK AND REDKNAPP BOTH EXPERIENCED MANAGERS BROUGHT US UP
how can a man who was redknapps head coach so hes got harries useless tectics, but that is compounded as even worse because sherwood has only got 28 games under his belt
I WOULD RATHER GIVE CLINT HILL THE JOB IF WE ARE GOING FOR INEXPERIENCED PASSION
No serious manager is gonna look at us and think, yeah, that's a sorted set up. Any club that appoints Les as 'head of football' is lost in space frankly. Get rid of them all to stop the rot, no Les, no Kevin fvckin Bond, no WHU, no THFC. These connections are part of a failed network and that includes Sherwood.
Root and branch clearance, get rid of them all and let Kevin Gallen take care of things until a proper manager can be pursuaded that we've seen the light.
