I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Hopefully Amit will have a big say in whose the next manager. They picked Warnock to get promotion and he was perfect at the time.

I cannot see any point whatsoever in making an appointment at this juncture. There will be a completely backdrop next season depending on what division we're in.. we may find ourselves needing someone with experience of the Championship, grinding out a promotion and savvy about identifying and working with players who are up for a 42-game battle - not sure some fancy technical coach would be the right fit?
I'd just stick with Les/Ramsey for rest of this season with possibility of Clint Hill or dare I say Joey getting a sort of coaching assistant role too and make a definitive appointment after May.

And that worries me. The idea of a chosen one worries me. I'd go with Kevin Gallen and pray sanity is restored in the meantime.

I wanted Bilic last time, he was available. To be honest if I were Tone I'd be on the plane and having a meal with him just in case he can be persuaded. I don't think someone of Bilic's quality would work with Les though, he'd want to run the show, I do think the Les appointment was ludicrous.

I'm inclined to agree with this. Smacks of another heart ruling head decision. I'd love to be proved wrong though.

Total #### up by the Chairman again. He seems to think he will placate the fans by installing a player legend as Director of Football. What competent, proved, experienced manager wants Les Ferdinand telling him what to do? Not Les's fault but what has he done to become a Director of Football? 6 years as a striker coach and done a few courses. Not the sign of a well run professional football club and the board know the only manager happy with this will be his mate Dim Sherwood. Nailed on.

How many people did Teflon Tone interview for DoF position, the same amount he will interview for the managers position.

A rumour was all it ever was, with no substance whatsoever.

Haven't fans been moaning like #### about not having a football man in a very senior role? Well there's one now.

Or do you mean an ex-player who has run successful businesses? Rare as rocking horse ####.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I'm not saying that at all. I have big doubts about both appointments.
