I cannot see any point whatsoever in making an appointment at this juncture. There will be a completely backdrop next season depending on what division we're in.. we may find ourselves needing someone with experience of the Championship, grinding out a promotion and savvy about identifying and working with players who are up for a 42-game battle - not sure some fancy technical coach would be the right fit?
I'd just stick with Les/Ramsey for rest of this season with possibility of Clint Hill or dare I say Joey getting a sort of coaching assistant role too and make a definitive appointment after May.

What competent, proved, experienced manager wants Les Ferdinand telling him what to do? Not Les's fault but what has he done to become a Director of Football? 6 years as a striker coach and done a few courses. Not the sign of a well run professional football club and the board know the only manager happy with this will be his mate Dim Sherwood. Nailed on.

Or do you mean an ex-player who has run successful businesses? Rare as rocking horse ####.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
