or alternatively the board recognized the whole setup of the footballing side of the club was wrong, took time putting building blocks in place and are now looking to appoint a manager to fit into allocated slot.

Furtive, if that is the case why not appoint Ferdinand straight into Director of Football?

Also... 90% of this forum predicted the set up so what takes time?? God if they are struggling to plan I think they need a new white board!!

The setup is not all about the manager. That is just one role. I suspect Les was initially charged with having a very close look at the footballing side of things which would be consistent with what we all heard about his activities before all was unveiled.

The way I see it is that the job is his to turn down. Everything is in place for him, from Les now being the DOF, Ramsey being the Coach and TF now stating the new direction that the club wants to take. Should they not go for Tim will Les stay at the club? It would be a major kick in the teeth for him after just being promoted to DOF. I expect Tim to be in place or in the stand ready to take on Sat.

All will be revealed at some point and I think we'll be quite surprised at the facts. Might make us look at certain characters in a different light.

I get that... but it seems that process has disrupted the club !

Also we all know this is about Les's mate getting the job Sadly for me as always when he does get the job I'll do what I always do and support the manager.

              Shame...feeling cheated.

I would rather have Harry than Sherwood or Les. I don't know why there is a thought that people with pretty much no managerial experience would be best to get us out of a relegation fight.

I think Harry going is the right choice... not because he is not good enough as I simply can not accept that. However because he didn't have the energy for the fight anymore

However the fans of this club should be asking some very serious questions !! It seems to me Harry was saying someone on the inside was trying to get him the sack? That must be accepted based on what the media was pumping out before the Man Utd game.

Looking at it now... we are going to get the manager we all expected over 4 months ago when Les Ferdinand got the weird role of Director of something no one really understood what he did. So I question the whole process? I question what Les has been doing? I question if the club was really supporting Harry at all?
It seems to me that if the club wanted rid of Harry the opportunity was clear the beginning of January? No one would of defended his record and at the time at least 50% of the fans would of accepted it as a result. However it now looks like forces within the club had other plans which must of effected team morale, must of weakened Harry's position with the KNOWN rebels in the squad?

So what I am saying... Is the Sherwood situation WILL of effected our performances. Now we are faced with a manager who has no history of success in the Premier league OR any league!!
It looks like Les has brought in his mates... The guys Harry gave an opportunity too when he was at Spurs !

QPR you need to sort this stuff out... POOR POOR Management of a situation IMO.
Agreed ! you put it better than I did in an earlier thread about skulduggery whats done is done so what I would like ### to do now is show some BALLS and take control for Saturday

McClaren over the others every day of the week.

Ridiculous though as he will not leave Derby, not for a second.

Can imagine Derby fans hatred of us if he does though....hahaha

Mcclaren all day long if it was possible. Sherwood will be gone in less than a year imo.
