Palace spent best part of £3m on getting pardew from Newcastle. Sherwood shouldn't be the automatic choice just because he is 'on a free'. The three people that spring to mind in line with what tiny tweeted are mcclaren, clement and Eddie Howe . Same as with players, if we've identified the type of person we want then we should pay the money to get them

Howe is not going to leave Bournemouth now though, is he? They are well placed to win promotion and QPR well placed to go down.

We the board will hire someone who cares, thinks long term, wants to be involved in developing the academy, has coaching skills, will play young players and is a winner.

          Who that might be?
          Mark Hughes?

Also, and my husband reminded me of this, before Harry came, the fans were holding up banners at the stadium with his name on it (Harry's). I sometimes wonder why Tony wants to continue with the treatment he sometimes gets from fans. He and the other shareholders are putting up all the money for the Club and yet all some fans want to do is complain. OK the fans pay for the tickets and come and watch the games, but ticket sales are a very small amount of the income generated in football.
            Good post.

Another piece on Fernandes...thats 4 or 5 in the last couple of days. People starting to wake up.

For Tony Fernandes, another departing manager, poor form and an ageing squad are among the many problems the defiantly upbeat owner has to contend with

If he tweets about McClaren you can bet DCFC will be suing him for tapping up. Keep off twitter and be professional. Bloke is a goon.

Great to see this type of thinking, it is the right way forward IMHO. I hope the days of hiring "names" and paying them ludicrous salaries are behind us.

Not what i`m saying Kev ,i mean if TF is saying he is considering people because fans are mentioning them ,then he either 1 ,has no idea who he and his advisors should consider ( which is worrying ) or 2 , he just says whatever he thinks people want to hear (,which is more likely ).
Thats all ,no need to jump on the offensive .

I more and more doubt it will be Tim Sherwood. I think he is a supporter OR media made smokescreen.

They've fooled the bookies pretty well if that's the case Shania.

                        So who's your money on?

Or people starting to panic about everything and the lack of a harry redknapp world of football for an extended period and the media want someone to write something about negatively about our club.

Brian McDermott;)) Only joking. I guess it will be Sherwood.

I am expecting a good game and good result against the Saints. That may well slow down the new manager appointment.

What are you going on about Shania, Sherwood's been lined up since the start of the season. Simply a matter of when, not if.
