Im pretty sure cos he has got such a good relationship with tony and amit he did the right and honorable thing and walked before they sacked him and used his knees as an excuse to save face.

We actually have really good individuals in defence that is the thing. Caulker is considered to be one of the best young centre backs in the league, Onuoha has plenty of qualities to make him a good defensive player who knows how to take the ball out of defence. Isla doesn't need much of an introduction to his qualities and Yun we have all seen to be a very solid player. There are certainly 5 or 6 teams with a worse defence individually than ours. Even goalkeepingwise, rob green is outstanding. I think the issue lies in the lack of knowledge of defensive coaching. My understanding is that we didn't really have an organisational defensive coach. Maybe with the new coaching team, we will see this dealt with. Harry and his backroom have always specialists in attacking coaching.

But that is the point with regards to errors, everyone has acknowledged his quality around the league and he deservedly got an england call up. We have huge talent and potential in him and he can only get better imo. Remember there aren't many cb's of his age starting regularly in the league. Only players who are at his level at his age are Rojo and Phil Jones

Come on mate that's just not true. Zouma, Paddy McNair, Chambers, John Stones, Sakho, Okore, Mangala + more are all around the same age and significantly better than Caulker. We got fleeced on that one. Like Samba he was overrated because he scored a few goals for a relegated side, it's a shame he can't defend.

TF knows he can't run the club & is just looking for a pair of safe hands imo, it's just a shame he's run into Arry Redknapp & Tim Leswood
