Give Les and Chris a chance for a few games, if all goes well, keep them in charge till the end of the season. Then appoint a manager.

Is it beyond the realms of QPR for us to find a gem of a manager abroad, a bit like Southampton seem to do with ease? We only ever seem to get linked to the obvious choices in England.
Exactly, we should use this time to look around.

Please take a look at Gary Neville as well.

Would be the sensible decision and a lot of clubs seem to be taking that stance lately, but i think 'said les' was purposely bought in to oust 'harold redcrapp' from his job, and he and 'dim tim',to become a double act again. It does seem to look that way.

Karl Robinson would be near the top of my list - good young manager, and as has been posted elsewhere a bit of the Dave Sextons about him and should be given a chance at Championship or Premiership level soon.

It's time for the board to really sit down and think this out, not Timmy for me a step backwards in my book

The ideal choice that nearly everyone on here barr the usual victor meldrews who would moan about free beer, would be eddie howe. Other than that mclaren or the boro manager would be great imho. But its going to be sherwood and more moaning 24/7 till hes sacked, mark my words.

I voted YES but I meant only til the end of the season, but this wasn't a choice.

I remember him slating Sandro in public after Sandro went public and said he should be playing. Is that a good way to behave even if he was right?

Looking long term, is Roberto do Matteo available? He could do a job if it was a job he wanted. Whoever we get in I hope it's not a rushed knee jerk appointment, there is no need for that IMO.

Plus, he had a great record at Spurs, won 50% of his games there. Really not sure why some show such reluctancy towards signing him. Who else out there is a better bet?
HR had a good record at spurs !!

Why should we know? We're not running a football club. Well run clubs - Southampton and Swansea are the obvious ones - would have drawn up a shortlist by now full of interesting choices that aren't best mates with people who work on the Mirror's sports desk. You reckon Southampton fans knew much about Pochettino before he joined? Or Koeman/Laudrup (as managers)?

It's just so small-minded to go, once again, for the big name out of work English manager.
