If he can recapture his 'QPR loan' form, Diakite could be a better option than Henry in midfield. He at least can give the midfield a bit of much needed pace. anyway wkth the sale of Mutch their is a space in the 25 man squad now that Ehmer had been loaned out too.

Idont think there are 25 now that Mutch has been sold. Wasn't Ehmer one of the 25, he has been loaned out for the rest of the season?

We're down Mutch and we still have SWP in the present squad , suggest you think again Doc

Ive change my avatar back as a mark of respect..... When he first came to us he was so exciting and many of us thought we'd unearthed the next Viera he was at times that dynamic. Just a real shame he had his problems and hasnt fulfilled his potential.

Diakite is back. That's why we didn't get a replacement for Mutch.

He is unpredictable which can be a good thing at times, remember in the relegation season his pass that set up Remy for a wonderful go ahead goal late on, then he gave up an unecessary stupid foul on the edge of our box to set up their equaliser, you just don't know what you're getting with him!
Thought that was Mbia against Wigan at home, Maloney scored free kick cos he ducked in the wall

Agree with everyone when on loan he was mustard, and he scored against arsenal, and being I've got 4 brothers all gooners, that means a lot

Midfielder Samba Diakite returns to Loftus Road following Al-Ittihad loan ...

SAMBA Diakite's loan spell at Al-Ittihad Jeddah has been cut short.

Diakite made seven appearances, scoring one goal for the Saudi outfit, but has returned to England earlier than scheduled owing to a change in management midway through his spell on loan.

Diakite’s return is subject to the player receiving international clearance

I'd have Diakite over Barton any day as long as he doesn't get sent off.
